Morning, mortgage payment and main OP gone out, so we are down to £224450.
Without my lodger payments I'm not going to get under £224k this month. It's been really useful having those helping us on the journey. We have spoken to a couple of prospective lodgers but one was working shifts and one said they wanted Mon-Fri but didn't really. When the house is busy Monday-Thursday it's never been an issue but I want our weekends just for us
I've just realised, next month we will be in the teenswell if I overlook the whopping £200k bit
Plus 69p tidy
Soon be the weekend

Hi Tilly
Good to catch up..but haven't read all your doings since Xmas..sorry:o. Sorry to hear the lodger has moved on. when the girls are older we will probably advertise for one. at the moment the room is used by our au pair as we need it for childcare cover. I think more people should try it. Sharing your house is not the hassle people think it could be so its easy money ( and tax free!)
Have to say though that I love doing the Tilly tidys...even if mine is against debt. Even did it when I was on holiday! It's very addictive
I wouldn't be able to do against the mortgage though. Whilst you can OP as much as you like, it's only in multiples of £100 or more.
Have a great eve
