Hurrah for not liking food shopping, I'm in total agreement, I really hate it. Hate is a strong word and not one that i use often, but it definitely applies to food shopping.
    :)

My problem is, I love any type of shopping! Even food shopping! The last 2 weeks tho I have actually planned meals and stuck (ish) to my list. I now have a rule that I have to stick to my list or only buy other stuff if its half price or less - and by that I mean stuff that you always need like loo roll! £23 last week for the 2 of us and I reckon about £30 for next week (food plan already done!)

I completely agree about food shopping, since we have moved to Aldi for the majority of shopping it being much smaller and less busy i dont get anywhere near the TESCO rage I used to and as there are less things to buy I find I dont come out with half the amount of rubbish I used to from tesco. I actually cant stand my local tesco now, always busy, changing prices every week poor quality of furit and veg with very short shelf lifes etc!

Hi everyone, I'm getting supermarket envy. We have the choice of M&S, Wait$ose or the Co0p here - oh and SP$R! Wouldn't touch the Co0p for veg!! Mind you I'm lucky that I pass by M&S on my way home most evenings so do pop in and look for all the reductions whenever possible.! Last nights haul was sausage meat and baby potatoes - sausage plait and baby roasties, yum yum yum!!

I wonder how much time we spend across a year grocery shopping and how much we save by just whizzing in and out of L!dl or Ald!?
