*sneaks round MFW door sheepishly*
Hello ladies (and Froggy and Billy if you are around too)
Wishing you all a belated but very happy new year with much love, health and happiness for you.
I'm on holiday today and to-morrow so just about to settle into quite a few jobs on the to-do list, not least catching up here and updating my diary. I think it's about two months since I updated my thread but I've still been overpaying etc
Tilly, I'm miles behind on your thread but just had a quick skim read of the last few pages and can see it's been a glory fest of smoothies, bulk buying, festivites and OP's, as ever I particulalry love the small tidy up OPs' you do :j
I think I saw you talking about looking into bulk purchase for dog food? I got my mother doing this about 6 months ago via BestPet and both the service and costs have been brilliant. We reckon she is saving about 33% on what she had been paying plus the added bonus of it being free delivery so no petrol costs or the humping of it from car to shop. They have loads of offers on and so far have also been available on £co and TCB so even further savings to be made. Definately worth looking at them if you haven't already done so.
I've just done my annual renewal of BT line rental, it's not due until the end of the month but it was a quick easy job to tick off and I think the saving was c.£56, doesn't seem five minutes ago since I did it last year!
Hope you are all well
Regards

Me again, nothing for ages now two posts in an hour
Tilly, hope you don't mind but i'm sharing this on your thread as your viewing figures are higher than mine (:rotfl:) so hopefully it might help some other people know about this if they don't already
A family member has Vantage accounts with Lloyds (you can now have a maximum of three per person) Anyway, I've just twigged that they can also have another three Vantages with Bank of Scotland (who Lloyds own). Also, BOS have a 'decent' savings account (3.25%) whereby you can savev up to £250 per month if you have a current account with them. Just done the first account application for family member and then hopefully over the course of the next couple of weeks I can get the other two Vantage and savings accounts open for them.
Hmm, might think of opening a Vantage and savings account myself.. On that note, is anyone looking at ISA's at the mo or do you think it's a bit too early?
Regards

Hi Tilly, long time lurker of your thread here.
I've been losing weight since September last year and I can recommend the 30 day shred. Jillian Micheals is the most annoying person in the world but you will not find a better workout DVD out there
Once your fit try P90X, thats extreme!
I'm 40lbs down now with some more to go. Its well worth doing as it enriches your life just as much as having a handle on your money! It will affect the bank a bit, i've had to buy so many new clothes...MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!1 -
my p90x is still sitting all brand new looking in its box, i really want to do it but i think it is a bit too extreme for me lol
i had trouble with shred as i have a dodgy ( frozen) shoulder but i will look it out again as it does work1
