Goodness the excitement - just seen an email telling us we have Exciting lottery news - Mr T bought a ticket for last night - what's the betting it's a fiver :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If I hear him running upstairs, breathing heavily I'll know it's more serious. Other than that, I'll be snaffling it for an OP

    Tilly x

    Keep breathing everyone - £2.80 win - that'll help :):):)

    Hello bestest friends :kisses:
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Just nipping in to say the shred is available for nowt on YouTube. It looks completely bonkers if you ask me :rotfl: :o Davina is a bit gentler and she's got a pretty good back catalogue now so you should be able to pick up a copy pretty cheaply. She's not as annoying when she's exercising cos she gets out of puff and shuts up :rotfl:

Thanks courgette will look at the shred on you tube, not so sure about davina though, she still must be quite a bit annoying :rotfl:

9 days since we went to a supermarket or food shop of any kind.

Fingers crossed the milk and fruit stay around £5 this week.

Loo rolls don't count as they were bought using Tolun@, TCB, S&S amaz@n vouchers so on track so far.

I have to pay a friend back for a bulk cleaning product shop but that can come out of my new bulk purchase pot :)

  • Morning, a/c tidy of Mr Ts £2.80 lottery win. He buys a ticket at New Year, Valentine's Day and mid summer, don't ask me why as I have no clue, but I guess at least the ticket cost was 'returned'.

That left me with the need to OP 20p, so a/c is tidy again. Boy it's going to take a long time to clear this mortgage.

Dinner this evening is mashed swede and potatoes, sausages and veg with onion gravy. I may need GG to lend me a couple of onions as i hear she has a similar stock pile to my loo rolls :rotfl: Still using up garage fridge contents before really starting on the freezer.

NSD yesterday and today should be the same.

I do need to buy a gift over the weekend for a birthday - although that's just reminded me I may have something in my gift stash. A couple of cards will be needed though.

That's all for now. Just today to go and we are heading for the weekend :)

    Best wishes Tilly

  • Morning Tilly! Congratulations on the lottery win!!

You have inspired me to cut down my food bills for January - I did a big shop just before New Year's Eve, so going to see how long it lasts me and see if I can get away with spending very little this month!

    Have a great day.

Sorry its a bit late by Happy new year!!!

Just wondering how you get on meal planning for so long? I normally plan for the next week but really want to get into planning for a month at a tiime and doing a big monthly shop rather than lots of little ones.

Is there anything you can suggest or is it just simply sticking to what you plan!!??
