Hi all, I didn't get there last night either so will post details when I get back:D

Edied to add: I will never get a job there. Didn't stop from 10 am until 5pm.

However I may not have helped grow Costco sales but I have drunk 1/2 bottle of white wine so feeling very relaxed

  • Goodness, my Friday night post was a bit weird, that's what 1/2 bottle of fizz does to me these days.

Loads of clothes bought for relative yesterday and off for some trying on today, before I do stock rotation and return them to a different branch :D

Brisket of beef is in the slow cooker so dinner will be ready when we get home.

We did a huge grocery shop yesterday, close to £100 :eek: however Mr T did remind me that it contained 3 gifts which DD wanted me to buy.

No exciting news to report but life is back to normal which is a blessing.

  • Glad life is getting back to normal Tilly and you can look forward to :xmastree: (have missed your "how many sleeps" update)

contemplating joining costco but wondering if would save the £30 back as compared to say aldi/lidl etc... which dont cost to joint. What do people reckon?....

Tilly, I spent £110 in the supermarkets yesterday  :( Am I still allowed in here?

In my defence that does include about £15 of Xmas gifts - but I am going to need to visit Herr A today for some bread and veg :D

Ah yes, police raids, feast eating dogs, 1p overpayments. Methinks your 'normal' is differently located to ours :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

You forgot the end of the world stock piling in the garage, the conference/ironing calls and her secret MSE DD agent :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hi Katsu, sounds like we both had a spendy grocery weekend  Let's keep it secret, no one will have noticed :rotfl::rotfl:

Evening GG, maybe normal is a bit odd in the Tilly household :rotfl:

Froggy, what's my secret MSE DD agent? I think I've spent too much time in the car today, my brain may be fried...........

Relative looked at clothes and I only have 80% to take back, which is amazing as I thought I may end up taking them all back :o

Watched a Christmas film with DD, poor DS went to bed as he is feeling under the weather and DH has been making ice creams to freeze for Xmas. What a star :xmastree:

Lodger switcheroony, otherwise known as OP, to do in the morning. I still haven't been to C@stco and given how much we've spent this week, I daren't even put a toe through the door. I cannot afford Costco-itis this week.

    :xmassign:16 sleeps :xmassign:

TYO, I do bulk buy probably once a quarter from C@stco, but I could exploit the offers more than I do. As I shop in L!dl or Ald! pretty much the rest of the time - I fell out with Mr T, Mr A during this year - I think I do save enough to cover the cost, however the biggest benefit is the mega batch cooking. When Mr T and I are on a cooking roll, we do tend to go a little mad :rotfl:

Looking forward to work this week and only 10 working days to go :T

    Have a great week, Tilly x x x
