Morning, lodger is staying for another three months allowing me to continue OPs each week

Haha - now I have visions of your lodger saying "I'm staying for another 3 months so that you can OP each week" :rotfl:

Hahaha - see what you did there :rotfl:
  • You've all made me laugh catching up on posts :):). Thank you.

Brizzle, I'll check my Costc@ receipts as I have kept them all to price check - I know it has saved me money even off setting the annual charge but I have not made the most of the offers.

MRN, fancy Brizzle not using loo roll - perhaps we have an mega Eco warrior amongst us :rotfl:

Mr E, that would be funny - I must admit I was delighted as that's weeks of OPs to come :)

    Back to work now

  • Glad our randomness has made you chuckle.

For me... it's relieved a tedious day of chasing other people. I'm longing for a job where people can keep up with me... or maybe even one where I'm striving to keep up with others!

    Hi folks

well I have been well and truly found out! Thank goodness no one knows who I really am..:rotfl:

I was in the loft today and am the proud owner of 27 packs of loo rolls...9 rolls in a pack - 243 rolls I make it...blimey and thats a few months in too:rotfl:

And I did bring a pack down to use, MRN, ..so no need to be too concerned!!!

Seriously, I have always ordered vast amounts of loo rolls, dishwasher tablets, tins of tomatoes, sacks of basmati rice etc..usually from an eco place that does free delivery. I wish I could say the reason is that its an attempt to be MSE (although it always cheaper to buy in bulk) but actually the real reason is that I CBA to think about these things every week..so its to save me the most precious thing of all...TIME:T and it gets one more thing off my radar. Its also why I buy milk once a week in bulk. I can't bear the hassle of running out.

I store everything I can in the larder...or if thats full the loft! When people ask me whether I will ever want a loft conversion I say no as I need it for storage!

Have agreed I am going halves with a friend on CostCo membership. Apparently if we go on Friday morning we get taster coffee and pastries session..needless to say we will be dropping kids at school and then piling onto the motorway to check it out!

  • I have no pennies no OP  At this rate, I will have to wait for lodger's food money due on Thursday.

Hi Brizzle, you are officially the loo roll Queen :D. Just take when going to Costc@, I wouldn't want you to come down with Costco-itis as well as MrT :)

    Have a good Wednesday.

  • I'm working from home today, so hopefully can crack on with the washing.

I need to cook up a vat of mashed potatoes as I'm having batch cooking cottage pie tomorrow, will get that done today as well.

Yesterday I made a whole load of chicken stock, with enough meat etc to make a pie so I can prepare and freeze that as well.
