  • Hope you manage to chat to your Mum - they really don't want to be a burden - it is difficult (((hugs)))

Glad everything else seems to be ticking along nicely (including the weight loss - well done).

    Take care

To your mum you will always be her little girl. And therein lies the problem I suspect. Hope you sort, know you will figure that out
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Had a long chat with mum today and I'm definitely not in her good books. I need to learn new skills as she is not hearing my messages.

    Anyhow - another 2lbs off 😀

A few seconds viewings of our house which is good news. I've found a couple of interesting houses depending upon location. Not doing anything about them until we know what is happening here.

Money - lodger money in yesterday and moved into savings.

Finally one of our cats pee'd on the upstairs carpet today - twice 😠. Not happy with her

  • The cat has probably realised something is afoot and isn't happy.

Not good when you are showing people round the house though.

    Take care.

  • Sorry Tilly, have I lost track of your plans? I thought you were keeping the house? Or were they viewing with a view to renting it? Very glad that everybody is doing well. We all know that when the children are happy, we are happy. X
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Hi Squirrel, Mr T and I thought we'd have our own mini adventure before moving abroad. Living in an area we've both liked and tried to move to about 12 years ago.

If we don't sell we will let this house out but without the pre Portugal adventure.

    It's a bleak foggy day here :(

I had the most awful dream in the middle of the night and had to wake Mr T up for a hug. I guess I'm worrying about mum a lot.

  • Yes, virtual hugs to you. I have been in my mother's bad books for about fifteen years so I know how it feels. Hope you can make the mini adventure work xx
