I have newspaper and sellotape if you want any.
Best to get an architect - I don't want my ceiling falling in on me when I visit :rotfl:.apple_muncher wrote: »Mind mapping is scary! Tilly, things sound wonderful. Are you planting basil seeds *now* to grow in the house over autumn and winter? Sounds good.apple_muncher wrote: »Mind mapping is scary! I'm definitely a linear, listy sort of person and am in awe of mindmappers.

What lovely visitors
We went house hunting yesterday - not terribly successful but we did learn what we definitely don't want, which I guess is good.
We have met with architects previously but have not had much success - maybe we just chose the wrong ones but very little was forthcoming. Fortunately we were never billed.
Walking the hounds soon and then off on a bike ride this afternoon.
I hope everyone stayed dry yesterday - what a lot of rain

Afternoon
Back in the UK and thankfully the sun was out when we landed.
Good meeting with architect. Came to the house and had some excellent ideas. He also knows loads of people at the local council which will be helpful.
Progress has already been made and we should have draft plans this week.
I've done loads of gardening which always makes me happy. Walks on the beach, meals with great friends, all on all productive and therapeutic holiday.
Hope everyone's plans are going well.
