I have twitter...it can only be 140 characters, I think. I don't use it much but I know what I'm doing just about, if someone can write a concise enough message I'll try and spread it around the celebrities mentioned.0

With Gods speed and some luck, someone jus tmigth have some news for us.xxxx
Help us to find Ruaridh (Rory)
He went missing in Boath Park area of Nairn, Highland. He's an 11 year old neutered male black Labrador cross, with an elderly/silver face. He has a big fatty lump on his right side, but no ID as he slipped his collar with the tags on it. Also has a silver tummy due to going grey. His name is Ruaridh (Rory) and is very friendly-especially children, and would come if called.
Ruaridh (Rory) isn’t chipped due to getting really stressed out at the Vets.
Aileen is all alone in Nairn her partner is visiting his elderly parents in Australia. While both her sons are serving in the British Army. Her sons dearly want to help but their postings mean they cant get home.
Lets make these lads happy by helping to find their fury pall. They can do without this worry, and they are in the forces fighting for Queen and Country after all x
People from all over the world are lending a helping hand, maybe they cant just get up and search, but they have and are helping with emails, ideas , and just moral support
Aileen happened to mention Rory on MSE (money saving expert) and we all tried to rally round and help. May of us couldn’t really do that much, not being in the area. But we are there in the background thinking of places he might be, thinking who might be able to help, and sending emails begging for help.
But soon the word was spread far and wide, including a Face Book group. With all these people helping we thought it wouldn’t be long before this old timer was found.
The local radio MFR,(Moray Firth Radio) was bombarded with emails and after a while they did put an alert out. Not enough if you ask me but never mind. Being local we thought they would help more.
The local papers ran the story, but still nothing. Where are you Ruaridh ?
The local Police, dog warden and local animal shelters were informed. In fact anyone who we thought might be able to help was informed, the internet is a great thing in times like this.
By the evening of the 6th November, still no return of Ruaridh.
By now posters had been made and posted everywhere that Aileen could think of, the FB page was up and running and ideas being tossed around, all were acted upon.
Over the next few day there were a few possible sightings and these were checked out but by the time some one got there he had gone further a field.
Poor, poor Aileen, her big lad lost, her family away, and now she has to go into work, how this poor lady is coping I don’t know, but she is so we must.
Well its now November the 16th, no sighting of this poor old boy and Aileen is now giving up hope.
We need a big push, and we mean a BIG PUSH. Any help you can offer would be appreciated, an offer of putting a flyer in your newspaper, a radio appeal, anything at all.
Local dog walkers, hill walkers, TV stations, gliding clubs, you name it we contacted it. Rambling groups, paper lads, police, community wardens, bin men. I think you get the gist. We have left no stone unturned BUT WE NEED MORE HELP.
I could go on with this story but you wouldn’t read it all there’s pages of it. Please if you can spare the time read what you can, you will see just how people come together to help. a fellow human being.
So please, please can you spare a few minutes to help. Maybe just maybe you might be the one that makes this a happy ending.
Please check out the links below to follow the story.
