Oh sazzybum.
If Ruaridh has died, he will know exactly how much effort you have put into trying to find him. He will love you all the more.
I don't know what to say. There are no words that will make any difference really.
If you want to try an animal communicator, I will help towards the cost.

That's a lovely offer hun:A"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Thank you for your kind offer, it's very much appreciated.
You know I can't accept though, please don't be offended-your support throughout and encouragement are more than I ever expected, and that is all I need
Thank you so, so much xRuaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

I am too happy to donate money
Kay is very very similar to Rory apart from she's a girl dog, and I would move heaven and earth to find her if she went missing, she's had cancer once and it probably has returned too so our months/years are numbered with her now I don't know what I would do if we lost her death or missing the pain is undescribable. So I do know what you are going through. Please accept donations to help find him

I know sazzy knows we would all donate towards anything if it meant getting the big lad back home safely. but we have to respect her wishes on this one. ( This was offered last week)
sazzy we are all still hoping beyond anything that he will be home soon, but of course you know that.
You now need to take a step back and recharge your batteries, that doesnt mean you/ we stop doing everything in our powers to find him. It just means you need to eat and sleep.
Sazzy, i wish with all my heart and soul a safe return for Ruaridh, you know that, and I will keep on plodding along trying to think of other ideas. I maybe many miles away but this has got my heart and i cant let go just yet.
All my love is winging its way to you tonight, God Bless xxxx
Chris xxxxRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Always in our hearts xxxHe is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.0 -
Thanks Chris (and Auntie Jules too-you know what for)
Everyone's been so great, I feel I can't stop-that wouldn't be fair. Ruars is my old man, and I can't sit back while everyone else is working so hard.
Hoenstly- I'm ok. I might collapse in a heap when Sean gets home on Sunday night, but until then I have to keep everything together. I'm snatching sleep here and there. I'm keeping to bedtimes for Bruces sake-I don't want to confuse him any more than he is already. So I put the lights out at the right time, lie down and watch a DVD or something. I sound as if I'm touting for sympathy there, but I'm not. If my body needs sleep- it will.
I've not given up hope-I'll never do that, I was probably just voicing what was nudging in my head for the last couple of days. A possibility of what might have happened. Trying to prepare myself maybe?
You've all been so good to Ruars and me since this horrible thing began, and again, from the bottom of my heart- thank you.
Say a prayer for him tonight, and for rising from the ashes' Ben too. She's been so brave today.Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

The highland landscape is quite beautiful, but very bleak and covered in vast amounts of trees, and deep heather. My old man has the biggest heart in the world, not once did he ever hurt anyone or anything-apart from the occasional sofa. What if he had ran for so long, and so fast, got to a quiet spot in one of the really wild parts- and there are many up here-decided to lay down for a little sleep and didn't wake up..that big old heart just had had enough?
Aww, bless you.I sincerely hope that isn't the case, sazzy.
There's a little Chinese Crested lost not far from me and she was spotted a whole 13 days after she was lost. Admittedly it was July, but they are tiny and don't have much fur and our summer was pretty cool and wet here.
A dog like Ruaridh is much better placed to look after himself.
I've read about more lost dogs than I wanted to know about since following this thread. There are just so many, it's utterly tragic.

Although I am in Chester, I am coming on every day to see out man home!! If you need a donation, let me know I would like to help. XX we are all thinking of you, it must hurt at the moment, Its the not knowing - BUT we all have our fingers crossed for you - Big hugs xxx0

Count me in - if the communicator is the way forward, and when you feel the need, lets do it - checking several times a day - you & rising are in my thoughts 2nite xx0
-
I'm another who is sitting 100's of miles away from you sazzy and feeling useless, all I can do is hope and keep checking back here for when the good news comes.
I've worked in dog rescue for 30 years and the number of lost dogs that never turn up is surprisingly small, so PLEASE don't give up hope xx
1 idea: have you put posters up where people would buy dog food? Just in case they've taken Ruaridh in and need to feed him. Pet shops are easy to poster but if a non-dog owner has him in then maybe the supermarkets would be better - would they let you put up a poster in the dog food aisle?
Sending positive thoughts your way Sazzy xxx and hugs to RFTA xxxSome days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0
