There's the candle link again - come on Ruars, show yourself so your family get you back, you've been gone long enough now.

I went out for a walk
It was so lovely in the sun.
Chasing the leaves, I was having
    so much fun.
Jumping and climbing I could have done
    it all day.
When I stopped to rest, I realised I had lost my way.
I love and miss you and want you to know,
it was nothing you have done.
I just got carried away with playing in the sun.
Please try not to worry too much about me.
I can look after myself, and in a way I am free.
Although I'll never stop looking for a way home,
    we will never be apart.
I will always feel your love for me, deep within my heart.
It may be all we have for now, but it's enough for me.
Cause you'll never know when I'll walk through your door
and expect you to have my tea.

    That's so sweet.

Ruaridhs page has done it again :j

A small brown terrier went missing the other night, we posted it on Ruars FB page, and one of the members saw the post, and tied it in with a 'found dog' entry on Gumtree, liaised with the finder and owner-and got her home :D Ruaridhs Army marches on!

I posted this poem a few months ago, but think it appropriate to post it again to give hope to others who find themselves in this situation..

Sazzy, you're coping incredibly well. If ever anyone deserves a happy ending, it's you.

Please God, Ruaridh will come home safe and sound. I can't believe how much we all want him home where he belongs with his family.

I've never posted in this thread before but I do watch it all the time hoping for good news.

I love that poem you have posted Sazzy, hope its true about Ruars and that one day he will just walk through your door wanting his tea.

Please God make it soon. xx

RIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Always in our hearts xxx
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

You're allowed to wallow in self pity Chris. I know how much TJ meant to you.
We took our darling girl to the vet for the last time on 6th August 2009 and still miss her terribly.
The tears have started again writing this :(

It's so painful when we lose a much loved pet. Of course we feel sorry for ourselves when it happens. Whatever it takes to get through...just have to be kind to ourselves.

Don't feel bad about the self pity Chris. We've all been there.
