I hope this move doesn't stop it being active.

I read all the time but I just don't post as I've never got anything new to say.

My thoughts are still with sazzy as they ever were, but I don't feel I can add anything worthwhile to the thread so I read and don't write, iyswim.

Me too, I try and make sure the candle link is easily available ie. on the last page and I always have a candle alight on his page but unforunately don't have anything else worthwhile to add :(

Been away for a few days, had my fingers crossed for some good news when I got home.

Pleased to see this has finally been made a sticky though.
  • "Bumped due to possible sighting in Croy. Could anyone in the CROY area please keep an extra eye out please? A lone elderly black lab seen on the Croy football pitch on Saturday. It had a red collar on, but you never know. Ran away when approached. Thank you Helen Mitchell for the messages xxx If anyone sees anything, or knows anything- number is 07813022717, or Nairn Police 01667 452222. Thank you"

This information has been copied from Ruaridh's doglost page (sorry, can't post links)

hope Ruaridh's owner is aware :)

It would be wonderful if it was Ruars, fingers and everything else crossed.

I've just been back to his doglost page to have a look and apparently the last sighting of him was at Croy. I don't know the area at all as I'm hundreds of miles away, but really hope its him.

Please Ruars, come and show yourself. Let's get you back to your family where you belong.

If the dog wasn't Ruars, please God get him back to his own family. An old dog shouldn't be out there on its own, needs taking care of in its twilight years.

Whoever you are, hope you get back home safe.

Thanks all, yes I got a message from a lady on Facebook who lives in Croy. ''
Hi Aileen, my son saw a black lab y'day on the football pitch in Croy by itself, he said it was there for some time while he was playing football. I aslo saw it my self but it was gone before i got a chance to get round sound of the house to see. It was an old dog but it was well fed and had a red collar on and the only black labs i know around here are young. Its got me thinking it could be Ruars, and he's been taken in because i remember u saying he was sighted near Croy''

But there's been nothing since then. Croy is quite a small village and is out in the country, where unfortunately dogs wander about on their own quite a bit. IF it was him, then I take comfort from the fact that he was well fed, and a collar on which means someone is looking after him. We went and looked obviously, but there was no sign. I didn't post it on here because it was quite vague and I didn't want to get folks hopes up, and to be honest-I wanted it to be him, so I could just post that we had him! I hope no one is offended.:(

35 weeks today it's been. Such a long time..
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x
