...by the way, if anyone can think of other Scottish things I can put in my mums hamper please post them
I'm in Scotland.
You could try Moffat toffee, Edinburgh Rock, Scottish honey/Marmalade/Jam, irn bru, haggis, Highland toffee, Caithness Glass, Oatcakes with a Scottish cheese (Lockerbie cheddar), Abernethy Biscuits, Miniature of Drambuie.........................
..........that's all I can think of but should be something there to give you an idea.
Personally I do not like Edinburgh rock but Moffat toffee is the bestFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Linz - get her a heather plant :-)
I've been upfront with my relatives that we're broke and we've all agreed to a fiver limit for each person. This is great and actually makes me think harder about what to spend my pennies on that they'll love.0 -

Brother - a home made sweety hamper. Been trawling Wilko, Poundland and newsagents for rainbow drops, curly wurlys, refreshers, love hearts etc, candy cigarettes, wham bars etc. Will work out sub-£10 I think.

Never thought of putting together a hamper style present - MIL likes lavender so I think I'll do one in this style. Already got a purple bed jacket - offer at Tesco.
Always got children in family selection boxes but thought they are a rip off so will do small sweet hampers - got some bits left from Halloween!!;)0 -
