Some of them never grow out of the box thing ...soozig wrote:My son was obsessed with cardboard boxes...one night i went into his room to check on him and found he'd put a large box on top of his bed and was fast asleep inside the box
When I can work out how, I'll post a photo of 14 yo DS3 playing in our new vacuum cleaner box ... :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
:rotfl: Well where do I start:
Posting toast in the video
Putting Keys outside the cat flap when the door is locked inside!
Any box or bin he can get inside
But the all time favourite my computer.............

:rotfl: My son threw the keys out of the window, it was 4am (gets up early) and had to shout the milkman to pass them to me
felt like a right wolly!
He used to like setting the panic alarm on the car alarm off too
DS2 - Boxes, sticky tape (huge amounts of it) anything he can take apart loves old electrical items to take to bits, loves helping clean
don't know who he gets that from, and we call him buttons because he can't resist anything with buttons or switches, or dials in fact, he switched the gas on on Nanny's cooker one day, could have blown the place up.
Problem with my 2 is they watch you do something once and they can do it. Grandad not impressed when 3 year old recorded Tweenies over The Bill he haddn't watched! One day I might be more organised...........

omg this thread has so made me laugh :rotfl:
seems i have missed the box thing as i have 2 in my front room which have been ignored.
however ds 16mths loves going through peoples handbags, playing with grandma's glasses case, stealing anyones mobile or cordless phone and walking off with it or in my case putting it in the bin while it was on silent. needless to say i never saw it again and had to buy a new one. he also loves to go through the kitchen cupboards and generally just pull everthing out. he also loves remote controls.
my 3.5yr old dd only likes to play with makeup and perfume. one day she was upstairs at grandmas and came down smelling of lots of grandma's opium perfume lol needless to say she is now barred from going upstairs alone. :rotfl:
forgot to add my ds also likes to scratch at the laptop thus removing the keys lolIt only seems kinky the first time.. :A0 -
I was upstairs sorting out some clothes and my 4 year old son came up with a colander, sieve, saucepan, frying pan, and a basket from a chip pan.He loves pan lids and uses them as shields, imagining that he is a Knight!! He put the pan basket on his head as part of his Knoght outfit.lol“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. These stories are fantastic. I'm pregnant with our first at the moment and can't wait to find out what our sprog will decide is more fun to play with then the expensive toys they will no doubt get.
Thanks really taken my mind off my horrendous morning sickness.0
