What does your child play with that aren't toys???

Don't know if anyone else has got a kid like my 2yo ds but he's got toys and likes playing with them but he spends as much if not more time playing with "non-toys" such as:

coat-hangers
dvds
jiffy bags
envelopes
mouse mat
credit cards
rolls of sticky tape
You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an
"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs :p :rotfl:

My youngest used to play skittles with empty sunny delight bottles and a soft ball.

I'd forgotten about the pegs. Hours of fun both my two had with them.

My daughter (almost 3) plays with clothes, clothes and erm....clothes. She constantly tries on a variety of ensembles regardless of who they belong to and loves the long length mirror in my bedroom.

Shame she hasn't learnt how to put them away properly yet.

years ago I had some friends who's 4 year-old asked for, & got, a large red plastic dusbin for Christmas, & he played with it far more than any of the other stuff he was given
  • My 18month old son loves the washing machine. He puts things in, closes the door, opens it again, gets the stuff out then starts again. Keeps him happy so is fine with me.

    Hee hee!!

My ds loves the bubble wrap I have bought for my little ebay venture. He also rags dvd'd and cd's out of there boxes and will play happily for hours with the ones he has managed to ruin so far.

He also likes a damp dishcloth so he can randomly wipe anything he walks past. Got him trained up already lol.

I apparently loved the cardboard boxes that toys used to come in. Well a toy doll is only a toy doll but a box can be anything with a bit of imagination!

Didn't have to be a toy box either, any box would do, especially the ones you can get into!
