  • Found 2 pairs of the purple velvet tights with the correct 4p barcode today and got excited as they would've been my first 4p clothing items! Till said item not found so the SA came over and said she can't sell them. BOOOOOOO! I think I have to accept the 4p clothes thing isn't for me and hold on for the next glitch! Can't wait for all the christmas stuff to go down to 1p again!:D

I went to tesco Pitsea at the weekend, only good scanner was playing up so switched it off and on and it worked perfectly after that.

which one was that the one by the toys or the one by the Indian food?

Did you get a bedrail in the end?

    Recipe:

    1. Drive to Tesco
    2. Purchase a Kipling Manor House cake
    3. Return home, place cake in oven for a few minutes then oopen the door & waft the smell around the house
    4. Carefully rough up the edges of the cake
    5. Place 'used' cookware on drying rack complete with a light drizzle of water for good measure
    m sending in

thanks glogh1973 but unfortunately that is an american site and they think manor house cake is a sort of victoria sponge with butter cream filling, oh would have a really bad turn with that as he's diabetic.

Just a little bit of info over the booklets from facebook, I don't think we should worry too much as my local clothing dept proudly told me last week they had scanned everything on the shop floor and repriced as necessary .
Two days later I got over ten items in one trip so they can't be that thorough, can they?
One insider blamed it on night staff putting out old stock, well keep it coming!!

HI showmemore, it was the toys one, the food aisle is such a long way away for most of the good stuff but havent been back since saturday as I'm in Southend and its a bit of a waste of fuel, especially if I go in the day and get caught in the roadworks. Are there any upstairs, couldn't find one??
and no luck with the bedguards but I'm sure if I keep trying one will eventually show itself to me!!

Well done on the DTD. Wait until you're in double figures and you have to stand at CS and smile and look shocked when they explain you get DTD. I should get an Oscar for some of my performances :o

P.S. where did you get the Chuggington if you don't mind me asking? Been looking all over for DS.

Chuggington was in the Cra1gav0n extra store, hadnt been looking for them then realised we hadnt got anything yet for DHs grandkids (Yea hes old). Wasnt sure what I was looking for as my kids are 15 and 20 and Im soooo outta the way of buying toys but took a chance at the one with no sel.....1 pressie down and 2 more to go

And dunno if my nerves would stand too many DTDs but then again practise make perfect :D
