Looks like there arent any new major bargains to be had at the min then.... think ill give the Cider Glitch a miss.. i really would consider that as stealing!
Just having a nibble on the cheap BBQ food... Yummy!!!! great for a late night snack...
Still not found the money... did do a car boot today, was such a shame to sell off all the things we had found that were for us.... wish id have known that this was gonna happen and would have grabbed a couple more... only ever take what i need.... oh well, managed to make 60 odd quid!! sold the 2 dressing gowns for 5er each.... so good profit margin there... some people were still trying to barter though... 5er for a dressing gown is a bargain in my oppinon anyway!! lol. - didnt manage to get the Grey ones i saw the other night.. went back in the morning, and after posting on here about them, someone must have gone and got them before i had chance....- meanies - whoever you are!!
anyway,
Thankyou for all your comments and well wishes too.
well done on the person who has stopped smoking, and good luck to the other person who is going to stop..... you can do it!!! it is hard, but sooo worth it in the end, give it a week, max and you will start to see the benefits. Promise!
Also, justa thought, but does anyone think that because there is a coat discount starting tomorrow, that the cheaper aw10 ones may go down lower?? If that makes sense?
xx
Hope you didn't think it was me who took the dressing gowns! I didn't get there till this afternoon found 1 blue one, with no belt! Also saw the ladies grey ones with white spots with aw 10 and the aqua green ones the same but both scanned at £14. They seem to have a lot there but would need few hours to rummage through it all I think. Found both types of the lynx shower gels there but both scanned at full price,:)Agent 06 of the HCCSC :T0 -

No i know it wasnt you.. lol. dont worry - you said you would leave me one and im sure that you would have done.. . i must have missed the one you got today... well done you!!
If you have the time for a good rummage, then you can usually find one or two good bits.... its a bit all over the place there and no scanners... do you just go to SS or ask at a checkout??
I saw the ladies gowns too and wondered but was in a rush so left it.
There was some stationery bits in the reduced section there.. but all with SELs so none on shelf.. aslo none of the Variety packs...ah well.
Have you had much luck at Willenh@11 then? ive only been a couple of times - did get a couple of toys when the big toy discount was on... JLS doll and Disney princess cash register i think it was...but the scanner there isnt working still i dont think ( the one by the clothes) - is there another scanner do you know? xProud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -
Thanks Looby I did see these last night in our Tesco as I was getting a Nerf gun with the rest of my clubcard double up coupons.
Although I never noticed the price on the box it did have a yellow SEL saying half price £30.00, might see what's what in the morning.it is....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WOWWEE-LIGHT-STRIKE-TWIN-PACK-STRIKERS-BNIB-/310346441436?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item484216e2dc
if you check this link you can see the item in the box so know what to look for...it was in the boys toy aisle where the nerf guns etc are...SEL said £60 but has 1/2 price £30 sticker on the box....says suitable from age 8 and to be honest it does look quite fierce!! It has a belt and targets and stuff...lights up with volume switch and alsorts of gadgets and gizmos...wouldnt pay £60 for it though!!!
make sure you get one with the 1/2 price £30 sticker on though cos when I got my DTD, the manager was clearing the shelf of them and tying to get the half price stickers off, so I'm assuming these are like the Barbie cars, where currently they should be sold for £60...hthI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
Watching the MTV EMAs just because our wee country is hosting it. My claim to fame is that I was within 2 miles of Justin Beiber. For a small fee I'm willing to reduce that distance and dump him in the river Lagan
Think I'll give glitching a miss tomorrow unless this cold/infection disappears overnight. I looked through the window earlier and thought Xmas had come early when I saw Rudolf. Then I realised I was looking in the mirror.
And for all the smokers out there ...... good luck. I gave up during my pregnancies but started back again between the boys. Somehow this time I've stayed off them even given the last few months. I still like the smell but I actually haven't been tempted. And for whoever said earlier about not seeing the money they've 'saved' - I know exactly what you mean. I'm not seeing a £6/day saving but thinking about it logically if I was still smoking I couldn't afford to pay the bills so that's where my saving has gone.0 -
Whats the offer with coats tomorrow please?0

I just asked a young chap on pharmacy, scanned a few bits for me, Salter scales, men's gloves, couple toys, I paid at ss but when dressing gown went through it alerted sa, she let it through anyway. That scanner in willenh@ll has'nt worked for months now, had few bits from there in the past, had most from w@lsall and cr@,dley. Did get some cereals from willenh@ll though, but only the one scanner thereAgent 06 of the HCCSC :T0 -

When CS don't write anything on your receipt to suggest a refund/DTD/overcharge etc. Means if you wanted you could return the item and get a refund of the full value.0
