On about not smoking I was talking about that with OH earlier, we have both been quit 3 years we used to spend £300 a month between us :eek: Strange thing is we don't see the money we "save" by not smoking!

Just after 11pm the tills all get updated and the self scanners go down for about half an hour as they are ont he same computer system.

Went to Ll@nsamlet Sw@nse@ all the scanners have been switched off, it doesnt suprise me one bit, when I went there before there were loads of Barbie's and different toys around one of them, I had to step over these to get to it.. so its no suprise that theyve switched the only working scanner off there.. :mad::mad::mad: why oh why dont people put things back!!!

My OH came with me today, he was as good as gold, trapsing off to the Price checker and back, to be truthful, I think he quietly enjoyed looking for bargains, esspecially when he came back to say that we'd found a 4p jumper!!!!!!! NOT that we were looking for them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I must confess I smoke & enjoy smoking, but my addiction only costs me £8 ish every 2 weeks (roll my own) I smoke outside & my parents don't know my guilty secret so Christmas is going to be tricky......:cool:

Me & OH stopped 2 years ago using patches. Had tried so many times before just using will power & never managed more than 6 months but the patches were amazing. I was given a plastic fag that you could put cartridges in which I used a couple of times when I went out but didnt use it after the first 2 weeks. I have never looked back since, never wanted one or been bothered by anyone smoking near me I am totally impartial now. I smoked for 22 years & was on nearly 40 roll ups a day. I found it so liberating to not be always looking for where I could have a fag or thinking about how long till I could have my next one & the extra time I had through the day when I would normally be outside having a fag was an unexpected bonus!

First post from another newbie, got the confidence whilst we have had a couple of other first timers!!!;) Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great grabbits mentioned on here, helping me save a fortune! Not sure if this is mentioned already but i managed to get a 4p clothes item yesterday, ladies long sleeve 'fairtrade' plain black cotton t-shirt ! Was marked up at full price with all the other tshirts so lovely suprise for me as wasn't actually searching for anything (this time!!) Hope this is posted correctly!!
would anyone mind letting me know the deal with the lynx? ive gone back but can't find it anywhere, maybe i'm just tired!!

Help, I seem to have something wrong with my computer, everytime I try to log into the expired grabbits board on MSE it sends me to Allen Carrs smoking cessation forums!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

P.S. 7 years ish here now after smoking up to 60 a day.
