Grabbed two of the trays this afternoon and more flash wipes. The mincemeat was full price but won't go to waste.
Looking at French's pic I picked up the wrong Epilator. Finallly found the Pantene but it was full price, and the moondough bakery. I was sure I had the right barcodes for these
Oh yes and a pair of the 'try by day' pj bottoms. Top missing but not going to complain! Got DH some short sleeved vests to go with them for 4p. There's loads of 4p stuff left at my biggest local. I think the other stores have their surplus stock sent there.0 -
Hey guys - the reason we went to a big tesco ( which is miles away ) was for dh to try out a coat - I want to get it for him tommorrow in the £20 coat sale - i'll look for a few cardi's and jumpers too - but just wondered is there any offers in store on clothing like £10 off when you spend £40 or are they all finished - thanks0

I live on the right side of the Pennines:rotfl: but passing Sto**port last Sunday.
I found 2 pairs of the score by night PJ's & asked the SA in the electrical department to scan them for me. Was very happy when she said in an amazed voice 4p! I went through the self scan & had no problem buying them I didnt have any time to look for anything else but at least you know there is a chance of something there!0 -
O/T but my DS said to me yesterday I don't really understand you, you save loads of money with your T's stuff but you spend £7 a day on cigarettes, OMG something is seriously finally starting to hit home:eek::eek:0

In your dreamsMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Got 49p cereal, loads of the orange 72 flash wipes in red packs but frootz was only taking the 342 dicount off & not the 34£1, worked out as a better discount(£1.76 for 6packs) but wanted both to come off!!! Sabatiers showing as £50, had loads of Pantenne brunette but I'm not sure if its scanning full price now so didnt buy it (& I'm blonde!) No scanners in this store & its just a normal size store, not an Extra. Oh & reporters notepad was full price 45p.
Nearest Extra scanners are all out of order or showing the 'contact a member of staff' message when u scan things. I think its a deliberate thing nationwide!
Sorry for waffle! Thanks for everyones posts, kindness & humour, it's a real pleasure reading this thread!0 -
I read that too:(
I'm sitting here and can smell some Jo malone perfume on my hand that I sprayed in Selfridges today, thinking if I didnt smoke for just one week I could buy a bottle without feeling guilty.
Right that's it I'm not buying anymore ciggies, but not telling my lot here because it's too much pressure if they know, I'll just nag at my "buddies"on here;) I've got 20 left and when their gone, their gone!!!!!
Woe betide a T's trout that gets in my way in the next few months though.
they fell to dust in the end tobacco falling out of cigarette. good luck0 -
Hi all
Not been shopping for 2 days, had a big family party today so been a bit busy,
Feeling a bit down in the dumps but won't bore you all, great to hear about all your finds, it really cheers me up. Hopefully getting back to work tomorrow will help take my mind of stuff. Lots of extra hours this week but my mum has a hospital appointment on Tues in Sheff***d so might be lucky to squeeze in a T's while I'm there
IH stress it was my sister who took those elastic things at our town store, she aplologises if you went for more, her DH has his own business so they were perfect for him. She was sooooo proud of her first find independent of me and the forum.....until I told her about you getting there first lol!
Take care all xxxGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
