I had to have ciggies in the house and they still are untouched , I felt that if I had none the urge to go and buy some would be so great that once I had got them I would then smoke them , With them here its my choice not to smoke them . I also never got the rats . I have gained 2 stone though .

i had to tell a little teeny white lie earlier to get out and try and get the cereals!!

£2.17. Needless to say, i didnt pick any up!

I did get 3 more jars of mincemeat- i thought i was gonna get trouted too- he read the receipt back to me as he couldnt believe he was charging me 60p for 3 jars of mincemeat! HAHAHA!

Problem is, i dont have my own car, my proper nearest tesco is an express, the next one is a home plus and the next biggest one is a 20 min drive :-(

    AND-

to top it all off, i *actually* have to go to work so dont get chance to go looking when its quiet :-((

Evening all, must say thanks to everyone for all the finds, don't post alot as my local stores seem to be quite on the ball unfortunately and feel a little guilty dragging my 3yr old to different stores several times a week lol! Whilst I was in a store that is having a refit earlier in the week a lady approached me and asked if I wanted to come back this Wednesday and take part in an 'informal discussion' for 30 mins about the stores changes and I will get paid £20! Getting paid to go to Mr T! Can't get much better than that lol! Would it be really wrong of me to look for any glitches whilst I was there ???????;)
Good luck to all those quitting smoking, will be sooo worth it in the end!
Chocolate always makes me feel better!

Good luck quitting - both me and dh used to smoke and I now couldn't imagine putting one near me - but dh loves the smell even still ! Its the hardest thing we ever did but you have to be ready in your own mind - no one can stop you or help you - I only started quitting 6mths after dh had completly given up ! All the best !

My tesco trip today was awful - my first really bad trouting over the Disney DVD's ! Picked up 4 ( 2 were doubles £16 and the other were £8 ) The CS said the stickers were out of date in May and I didn't stand a chance - then Manager came over mumbled for a bit then said honour it but no DTD - ( big queue by this stage and children were outta the car and had joined me with ripped dh in tow ) - I said no not good enough - im here 30mins now so I want DTD for my troubles - manager back said no ( without even looking at me ) - I said i'll ring head office here then from my mobile or do you want to do it - manager walks away - and is called back - and told to give me DTD

Glad for standing up for myself - but hubbie was so mortified that he refused to let me buy the 4p items in the next big tesco we went to ! I was so cross - they had loads and loads of stuff and a lovely scanner right beside all the 4p items ! So for anyone near The new big TEsco Extra in C****a***n - fill your boots !
