  • Hi All, I have just managed to catch up here, and I am not going to comment on the rights or wrongs of a closed group

Please note, I am not just allowing people in some sort of 'cliche', a lot of people dont find the items, but try and help in other ways, contributing in any way they can. These people have also been added.

If anyone else wants to join, please pm me with facebook details.

Please also note, this is not MY group. Yes I pressed the button to create it, but thats where my ownership ends. Any feedback/comments/admin requests etc are more than welcome

    Thanks xx

    Dear Frenchknickers,

I believe even though this is my first post my points are still absolutely relevant. Abstinance from involving ones self in discussions or activities is not a sign of ignorance

Hi BIC and welcome to the thread!

Feel free to contribute and join in. You'll soon feel right at home.

It does give you a buzz finding the glitches but it also feels great posting em for others to benefit from too. I find I can't help myself when I find a good un. I have to post then and there. The Barbie tea sets were posted ehilst I was in the store still :D
It would have felt better if others had reported finding em though :(

I picked this bit out because there is nothing wrong with people benefiting from it, that is the whole point of this forum, people are free to come and go and look. Its when people don't share, either the find in store or posting them on here or don't say thank you etc. You say you shared the scarfs with someone which is great but there are plenty of people who just walk into Tesco after reading on here and get what they want and think sod everyone else and that is what is sad about it.

    Beki,

I agree. But some people may not get the chance to go looking for the discounted items and therefore seize the opportunity

  • If people need to make income from glitches then good luck to them.

OMG have you even read a single post in this forum. Loads of finds have been shared (not by me I have to admit as I have found NOTHING :(). I have not seen a single post where someone has even suggested they are buying things for profit, in fact some people are actually offering to buy things that they know are needed by other members e.g. toasters, kettles etc. people are willingly sharing and supporting each other. I have no idea what you have been reading, are you getting this forum mixed up with another one perhaps?

    Good Evening,

I have been looking at MSE for a while now and like many others and am rather disheartened by the apparent "ownership" some of you feel you have over people who do not post on this site.

I believe and am 100% certain that this site is free and anyone can view it. Indeed anyone can purchase any item from any store, all you need is the money.

It appears that quite a few people who post on here are transfixed by their own self-importance and think they are some sort of higher being. Bitterness is an incredibly divisive and soul destroying mental approach to any situation.

Given the current financial climate everyone is looking for a bargain.....

I took great please in visiting the tesco Long Eaton a recently after seeing a post on scarves. There were loads at 4p. The person posting seemed to be trying to pass a coded message to their friend without letting everyone know about this "glitch". While in store i saw someone else (obviously an MSE viewer) looking for the same thing as I was so we helped each other. She bought some scarves for her family and i bought the rest. All 27 of them. I propmtly then took them to the local cancer charity shop and gave them all away. The gobsmacked person on the counter just stared aghast as she looked at the tags and new labels. Hopefully the money raised will really help people with genuine need rather than total greed.

I intend to continue to do this....Because I Can!

For those of you who continue to perpetually whinge and think you are some kind of higher being because you post on a thread have no god given right to think you are the only people in the world who have the right to "engorge" yourselves in glutony

    Your truly

Sorry but I just feel that this is a total wind up post!!! Just my opinion:) And I recognise the style of writing!

I have noticed a lot of posts which say ss gives a message for assistance, it always seems to be on the 4th item (same barcode). This could be an automatic thing to stop people bulk buying any item I used to work in a store which had a simular procedure in place.

sorry if its already been said am tryin to work my way thru the pages lol i can confirm that its the 4th item that is causing it its the same with coupons too the machine dont like 4 of the same kind hth

Well ladies, please be gentle he's a sensitive soul and worried that he can't compete with Mr January and Mr February :o

There is a view from the front as well, but not sure if that's allowed or not...! :rotfl::rotfl:

:T:T:T there is no need to be sensitive, I think he competes very nicely and as a March baby, I am very happy to have him as Mr March :)
