just a heads up on this one... some eople may be entitled to free cavity wall insulation, and loft insulation if you are on certain benefits... i remember when i was on Income support, i was asked if i wanted free cavity wall and loft insulation (was only on a teeny bit of IS at the time too) - I didnt take it as i didnt need it, but maybe of use to some poeple to look into. xx

Good point and a timely reminder! Cheers :T

I have noticed a lot of posts which say ss gives a message for assistance, it always seems to be on the 4th item (same barcode). This could be an automatic thing to stop people bulk buying any item I used to work in a store which had a simular procedure in place.

I bought 5 1p toy story bags today through ss there was no message for assistance
Also bought summer rayshade £3.45 from £14

sorry should ave said frozen i had a look on t,s and a,s websites and cant find the butter one only the normal wondering if maybe they are selling it off as the normal one is only £1.10

I think they must be selling it off. There was none in the two Tescos I was in today and no empty shelf space or SEL for it. I normally buy the normal and the all butter is usually next to it.

  • Dear Sunshinestar,

I can understand people's frustrations when they discover something and others dont share what they find.

Giving to the charity shop meant they could make the profit rather than a £1.08 donation from myself. They will be better from the goods than my money.

I would like to raise a slightly more controversial point. Please bear with me....

I have a job that genuinely changes peoples lives, if i discovered a cure for cancer and only shared it with my friends how would people feel.

My personal choice is to share what i can and help those i can. Fortunately i am not in the position where i struggle to put food on the table so am able to try to help. Giving £10 to charity or £10 of "glitched" items could make a huge difference to someone else.

Increasingly people are occupied by greed and as you may tell i am not like that. If people need to make income from glitches then good luck to them.

But finding something new or cheap means you get the first advantage. Whats wrong with anyone benefitting from your discovery. If we all kept our discoveries to ourselves i doubt i would be typing this via the internet and a wireless network

Just a quick reply as im about to go offline... just wanted to acknowledge your post.

I dont think people are wanting to keep their discoveries to themselves... hence the reason why we post on here, plus add pictures and try help each other as much as we can..

I just feel you were a bit too... cant think of the correct word to use.... erm.. presumptious.. of the people on here with your comments on your first ever post. :)

    anyway. good night all. x

either a lurker has killed it all at my local or T are onto it- there was NOTHING

no trays, shirts, pants, socks, scarves, hats nada. Not a thing

Did pick up a Jamie Oliver Mug in a round tin- super mum thing for £2 down from £10 and the big halloween tubs of sweets are £2.50 now but that was it :-(

For my localites, this was cri33bs

And i got wet- it was pouring down and there was a HUGE puddle running all along the bit between the car park and the pavement proper

PS re the facebook page- i think a closed group is a good idea but i cant get on fb in work :-(

AND someone has been on there putting

Check out the money saving expert thread about 4p grabbits! I am missing out! Although got myself 50p flowers the other day were 15 pound!

    grrrrr!!
Ditto, nothing at Cribbs for me either:(
  • Hello all, my first post so please forgive me if this has already been mentioned. In my local T store 2 wrights bread mix varieties (cheese & onion and a garlic one) are reduced to 18p and still on 342. There are coupons for 30p off in the coupon thread aswell.

I picked this bit out because there is nothing wrong with people benefiting from it, that is the whole point of this forum, people are free to come and go and look. Its when people don't share, either the find in store or posting them on here or don't say thank you etc. You say you shared the scarfs with someone which is great but there are plenty of people who just walk into Tesco after reading on here and get what they want and think sod everyone else and that is what is sad about it.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • Looby,

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of the scarves, they went to The Sue Ryder shop in Beeston.

I understand you are doing what you need to do and have no critism of you. I also have no problem with anyone else who needs to make ends meet.

As for comments regarding ownership of discoveries I have every right to raise my personal opinion. We live in a democracy.

I hope we bump into one another in Mr T's one day

    Happy glitching
