I think we all know we would end up with a phil or some other lurker it's common sense that we would be watched in forums. Personally i think they are just looking out for large DTD glitches like the £60 light strikes, but for all the 1p and 4p stuff have you ever thought it might be another marketing plot by mr T to get us all going to the store to search for stuff that they wan't rid of (old stock) and we end up doing a bit of shopping when we are in there? Don't all start giving me pelters just a thought :cool:

totally agree. Tesco get loads of free publicity from glitches. The 4p/1p items are a bit like a treasure hunt which we all love, personally don't get too many but does keep me going back to look and always buy loads of normal shopping

Another newbie here,
I have gotta say im loving this group and been reading it all for the last few days, and its helped me save and get a few cheap xmas prezzies :T

Also would like 2 add i found Paxo Sausage and thyme tray bake in my local extra SEL 27P and goes through as this thought i would mention it as i havent seen anyone list it

I have never and would never make an income from glitches, I have three children a husband and a baby on the way, not to mention my stepkids. until the other day i wasnt aware we was entitled to benefits i wasnt aware we could get any help with housing costs. so picking up a packet of pasta for 22p instead of its usual price has literally been a lifesaver for us. what you dont seem to understand is people are not annoyed that (i suspect you) posted on facebook about a 4p glitch. what they are annoted about is they went to the verry company that make these alleged mistakes and said.. ohh yeah look at me i found something for 4p, ok it wasnt in those words but the sentiment was the same. do you really think for one moment that they havent deliberatley set prices low so as people come in looking for them, do you see asda making the same mistakes on a daily basis and doing nothing about it? as another poster stated they didnt become the number one supermarket by not knowing there prices or there policies, double the difference is the best marketing ploy tesco have ever had, and you know why? because everyone that goes in looking for a 4p glitch or a double the difference buys something else at the same time, its called marketing. by going on the facebook group and basicly giving them the proverbial finger all it has done is told tesco we think we are better than you, we think you are stupid, when in fact it is actually the other way round. will it stop me looking for cheap things, hell no it wont, you know why, because my kids deserve to have a christmas present, my daughter who is upstairs right now attached to a feeding machine deserves to have one day that is magical, and if tesco want to help me to do that then i am damned well sure going to let them.

buying multiple items 20 here 20 there is greed and i dont care who you give the stuff to its plain greedy. taking 2 playdough sets so kids can have presents is nesesity, when you are up !!!! creek with no paddle you may understand.


now i will wind my neck in and !!!!!!

You contributed quite rightly, in a way that was meant to get peoples backs up, not the most brainy or clever thing to do;) You have literally stuck two fingers up at us by saying how much you have bought and tried to make it better by saying that you gave it to charity, sorry just don't buy it!

:T:T:T well said i agree completely, so many people on here buy things as little luxuries for themselves and there friends and family that they wouldnt be able to afford normally, me and my mum find glitches and things on the cheap but we don't clear the shelves, we always take a few each and leave plenty for others, this is what the majority of people do on this thread we're not hukd after all.....
