That sounds like such a fab thing to do! I would do the same for my neighbours but they are all a bunch of miserable so and so's who just argue all the time and cut their grass at 6.30am  on a sunday morning.

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of the scarves, they went to The Sue Ryder shop in Beeston.
I understand you are doing what you need to do and have no critism of you. I also have no problem with anyone else who needs to make ends meet.
As for comments regarding ownership of discoveries I have every right to raise my personal opinion. We live in a democracy.
I hope we bump into one another in Mr T's one day
Happy glitching
Because I Can
hmmm...no one on here claims that they 'own' their 'finds'...but we did like to share with others so many people could enjoy them...have a feeling that might start to quieten down now...
Also..no one on here buys in bulk to sell for profit...we allget what we can for friends and family...whilst you may be in a position not to have to scrimp and save, unfortunately for many in this country that is not the case.
You seem to think that your first post on here is pleasant, when its actually quite rude and offensive to many on MSE and this thread- your name even comes across as rude considering the first post it was associated with.
Although I'd like to say welcome, I really dont feel like you want to be welcomed..think you've deliberately created the account in that name just to try and rile people...well it kind of worked on me, but I'll live
If its just the 4p and 1p items you're looking to donate, then Beeston is a better store- they have more stock and choice..another good one is Netherfield. I'm only telling you this as I've got the bits I need from there.
Thanks for the heads up on meeting you - if I realise its you, I'll make sure I fill my trolley with enough for me,my family and friends and fellow goodnatured MSErs before you go and clear the shelves ...incidentally if you're that well off, why dont you just donate the full price of the item to charity instead...or get them a few DTD Bakagans/Light Strikes while you're there
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Clothing at Tesco
Hi everyone,
I’ve looked into your queries regarding items for 4p. I cannot speak for the stores but can advise that online we don’t have any products on sale at this price - though that would be a real bargain! – if you wish to confirm p...rices within stores please contact our customer service dept on 0800 50 55 55 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 0800 50 55 55 end_of_the_skype_highlighting which is open Mon-Sat 8am-8pm or any assistant in the Clothing dept instore. I hope this helps!

Sorry if this is now out of context but I'm still catching up.LadyLeenie wrote: »Excellent idea
Is it possible?
It's possible, but workable? Anyway, DTD, glitches, misprices are one of the worst kept "secrets" in the world of savvy shoppers whether they use MSE or not. This thread has been going in one form or another for the 6 years that I've been an off/on visitor/poster on the MSE site. Fears that Mr T is "on to us" have been regularly voiced. Of course he is and has been for many years;).
Many of the so called lurkers clearing shelves are just experienced MSErs who probably don't even need to use this site. They've done their "apprenticeship" and move on.
Any way, good luck:)Awaiting a new sig0 -
If you let me have a look at the front view , I'll be happy to tell you !

Not sure if it's a good idea or not...
