hi, managed to gt a light strikes stickered but the cs point blank refused a dtd no matter what i said, and just gave a jtd on it, so it may have to go back for a refund cant afford £30 extra bn a £10 may have kept it,but not sure how a return would work now.
Also went to durham extra they had no stickered toys or baby products that i was looking for, had kids in tow so wasn't looking on the clothing as its too much hard work.
did manage to find some david beckham instinct a/s balm for £4 ? which is for my xmas stash. so well pleased.
so it was uneventful night.
what was the c/s reason for not giving DTD , did you go through self scan?0 -
Here are the photos sorry if not clear still working out how to use the camera I won
The main thing to look for is the shape of the box & FAST written at the top in white writing.
Barcode 006197
They are on the battery displays near the tills, in the bottom right hand corner, have a quick flick through they are always in a mess at every store I've checked
Good luck, busy day today no Tesco (which is a good thing I think bad enough being addicted to reading the thread every spare moment without keep going there)0 -
Ooh wish the kids would eat their breakfast. They have stopped to have a little play break.
Where to go where to go. Clee has broken scanners but maybe more chance of scarves then, or to d0nny. Or do I treat myself to a trip across the bridge and give hu11 a try. Hmmmm. Guess it's a good job they are taking so long as I can't make my mind up..(/(/

Oh dear, I'm really in a pickle now.
Just saw the posts about tax credit and to cut a long story short, from next year I am completely stuffed unless I can increase my hours, not possible with my arthritis/job/home situation.
Crying a bit now, will have a cuppa and compose myself for a serious bargain to cheer me up.0 -
Thanks Cosmic, CAZ, just ignore my posts, i thought i half knew what i was going on about, but i actually don't, :rotfl:, listen to Cosmic, and go onto entitledto.com, that will give you an idea of what you'll be entitled to xx
Cosmic - just out of interest, whats income support for then? as i thought people claimed job seekers if they were out of work? xx
i know this wasnt directed at me but thank you so much, i have just found out that i am entitled to income support, carers allowance and housing benefit. i dont know how much it is but boy will it make life easier, even if its only 50 a month or so we have been managing on child tax credits and feeling guilty at borrowing from dd2's dla aparently there is a disabled premium on tax credits aswel, seriously thank you so much we really needed to know this with the ammont we have been struggling. especially with the rent being paid thats like 80% of our tax credits leaving us just over 100 a month for food gas electric and everything, going to be busy on the phone today i think.0 -
Well I was hoping for a T free day but reaaallllllyyyyy wanted some of those gorgeous scarves so off DD and myself trotted.........and not a flamin scarf to be found, or a handbag!!!! Did manage 4 more pairs of tights for DD and there were 5 or 6 of the little boys raincoats mixed in with the AW11 stock (theyre very similar at first glance) I just took 1 as not many little boys in my life so mummy1983 and nettieg, if either of you need them theres most sizes from 9-12 months to 2-3 years
just remember its the ones with the bugs and not the aliens!! Also got some of the halloween toilet roll, sel £2.25, scanned £1 and some whoopsied veg but no cereal or flash wipes
. SS was packed so took a risk and went through a manned till, lovely chatty young girl who just looked at the tights but never said a word. So unless theres a MAJOR glitch I WILL NOT be back ther this week.........really
Thanks Sharon hopefully they'll still be there sun - my locals don't have them. I've two wee boys that'd look super cute in them !:T0 -
