Caz, i've heard of the new April 2012 benefit rule that you have to work 24 hours a week, but just check that this applies to you as i thought that only applied if your children were over 7 years old?
have you been onto entitledto.com ? xx
What I think you are talking about above is lone parents no longer getting income support once their child hits seven, although the age limit is coming down to five soonish.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
I wish;)
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:No special powers just and extra 2lb in 4 days:eek::eek:
That would be Mr Kiplings fault then? Don't worry, it will soon go. Well done - £28 in the pot? When I gave up, my pot consisted of iou's for the first couple of months! DD1+2 and DS thought that I wouldn't notice!0 -

Thats right, i thought it was something like that but couldn't remember exactly, so Caz should still be entitled to income support as if i remember rightly her youngest is a baby!? (that also means possible help with child care too if i remember rightly)0 -
Would also love some scarves and must look for the cola deal. First take the dogs out .
Watch the prices go up and down like a yo-yo.
ATM the cola packs are sitting on offer (notice it's not online) at 2 x 8 packs for £1.50, yet 1 x 8 pack = £1.99
The last time they changed the offer to 2 x 8 pack for £3.50 and the price on the single 8 pack was £2.69 ish.

Perhaps we should start marketing T as a contraceptive? Everyone spends so much time on here that there isn't time for much else!
Somehow I managed to see my OH enough this month as I found out we are expecting number 2 on Monday :j
However, early pregnancy tiredness combined with a toddler that has decided to resume night time waking means that last night I passed up my usual evening T's trip in favour of an early night
Might be persuaded to venture out today though if a good glitch comes up♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

I'm on tax credits already but the problem stems from my job. Without sounding bigheaded, I earn too much to get tax credits normally (I've been on maternity most of this year so my P60 is a lot less than usual) therefore I have to pay childcare myself. I'd have to reduce my hours by more than half to get tax credits but that causes a new problem because from April 2012 you have to work 24 hours/week to get benefits so that would put me back above the threshold for WTC & CTC and therefore help with childcare.
Rock ......... meet hard place.
Sad state of affairs, but youd also get legal aid, and save a fortune. I had to leave my job in same circumstances, (was in and out of court 2 or 3 times a week, boss was really understanding but coukdnt put up with it for so long bless him!) My oh earnt too much for us to qualify for legal aid so ended up starting my own business that works for me and now settled family. Im sure youll work it out. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
Do I take it you are a Rodney fan?
Rodney Marsh my Dad's hero.
I'm lucky to have been a girl otherwise I may have been called Rodney. I was lucky enough to meet him twice a lovely, lovely people person he is too.
The first time he was a guest at a game, there was a big crowd waiting for him afterwards & he was signing autographs & his minder was trying to push him into his car, I got in front of them almost in the car and said "Rodney I know you are in a hurry but would you sign my shirt please?" Of course I will Darlin' "he replied with a grin.
I also met him at a QPR function briefly I had completely lost my voice & he is deaf in one ear due to a collision with a goalpost. So I had to write notes to communicate with him & he wrote little replies. Yes I love Rodney :blushing:
Stan Bowles is also nice & friendly, a little old man now, but Rodney has the wow factor even for a man in his sixties.0
