Good morning everyone! What are you all up to today - or is that a really silly question? ;)

I MIGHT not go to Mr T's unless there's a huge glitch around. Got stacks of washing, ironing and general housework to do. Yuk!

Just realised how obsessed with Mr T's I really am. Memorable events in my life seem to happen there. OK, so I didn't go into labour while shopping in Mr T's, but that's where I took my 1 day old baby boy when I was discharged from hospital! :eek:OK, it was to get a tin of formula milk, but I can still vividly remember walking around the store with a tiny baby in a car seat and feeling slightly worse for wear let's say.... ;)

Another incident was when I had to take my then 4 year old DD to the toilet in Mr T's. It was really busy and there was a queue of people waiting to use the toilet. My DD waited until the there was a lull in the noise in there to announce "Mummy, I wish my bottom was as big as yours, then I wouldn't fall down the toilet". Cue lots of giggles from outside the cubicle door. :rotfl:Then I had to open the door and face the amused glances from everyone while doing the 'walk of shame' to the sinks.:o
It wouldn't be so bad but I'm only size 10/12!

Hope you all have a good and fruitful day. xx

Anyone think this might be worth a go ;)
If you pick up a copy of the Tesco magazine, front cover woman with white hat brown hair and white coat and you turn to page 39 Buy any 3 gifts and get the cheapest free from the 1st November to 3rd January 2012...the pictures are the half price gift sets that started today  eg, vaseline tin, small impulse set (pink), Lynx, Dove men + care and another Dove set.

I can confirm they are half price but with the Tesco mag with the lady on the front there is full page advert with photos of the gift sets & its says they are 3 for 2 this is not kicking in so be sure to pick up the mag & claim DTD. Sorry can't remember the page number

hi, managed to gt a light strikes stickered but the cs point blank refused a dtd no matter what i said, and just gave a jtd on it, so it may have to go back for a refund cant afford £30 extra bn a £10 may have kept it,but not sure how a return would work now.
Also went to durham extra they had no stickered toys or baby products that i was looking for, had kids in tow so wasn't looking on the clothing as its too much hard work.
did manage to find some david beckham instinct a/s balm for £4 ? which is for my xmas stash. so well pleased.
    so it was uneventful night.

Went to 2 stores tonight :D
got 2 tangled bluray/dvds(20gbp each!!!) and brightstars mat(6.50/12.95) in the first one on dtd :j the CS lady tried to give me dtd on the baby mat and jtd on the dvds "because the offer is not on the system yet" :rotfl:I said I've been overcharged and it's not my fault something isn't on the system... got my dtd...
when I went there she tried to send me over to electrical desk "because otherwise they won't know it's not working" but then she just went to tell them... while waiting a guy started chatting to me and asking if there are Ts in my home country  I didn't say a single word before he said that... :o
so when the lady returned and talked on the phone he said "well, you gonna get all your money back aren't you?" :D so I said pointing at the blue board "yes I think so, they have dtd policy" :rotfl:and so the CS lady was forced to mention dtd to her manager otherwise I'm sure I'd have to argue more...

In the second store I went to look for the 4p bargains but the scanner wasn't working!:mad::mad: (osterl*y!!!) so the sa offered to scan them for me and at some point a mens skirt with a tie "had to be sent back" didn't bother anymore... :o

Please can you describe it? (thought I was the only who made typos like that!) Thank you, czerniacha, you have started my day with a smile on my face!:T

Take it back, you have every right to take it back for a full refund. Not sure what exactly she wrote on your receipt, but its quite possible you will get £60 refund as thats what thereceipt says you paid.
