Good evening all.....or is it good morning??? Mixed fortunes with my shop again at two Mr T. Ponte££££t store has loads of cheap pukka pads, PVA glue and pens etc. The glue was 25p, pack of really nice fine liner pens £1, slim jotter (shopping list style) 10p, pukka 160 page pad 45p and pukka project book with dividers 56p. The pukka pads are normally around £4 + so really good bargain. Bought several but loads left. Hemsw***th store as usual has been rubbish although did manage to get the nivea deodorants. Got a dozen to stock up but still lots left. Been back again tonight to try with scarves and bags but not found anything. It makes it so hard with no scanner as I don't want to alert staff by getting them to scan items and they are generally manned so you are watched with eagle eyes! I really really need to find bags and scarves before I go demented. I'm obsessed with that first elusive find!!

Thank you to everyone for posting their finds today, especially the pictures...... I'm soooo hoping I have more success in finding the scarves than I have with the PJ's (only found one pair and had them taken off of me!)
Off to bed now, night all xIf at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Beki88 thanks for the heads up. I'm blooming back at work tomorrow and then night shifts all weekend so unlikely I'll get chance to travel over. If I feel up to it will try and get over between sleeps (I'm not at my best on nights! lol). How do you price check them without a scanner? I'm so scared of drawing attention to myself I daren't ask staff to check. I think I'm gonna have to grow a pair and maybe some thicker skin! lol x0

No you can't retire, I'm still struggling to get any bargains. Still need your tips to hone my bargain hunting skills
My biggest tip would be use a store that has a scanner you can use because its no use having a list, finding the stuff & then what do you do ? only so many things you can ask electrical or clothing to scan for you & then what do you say if it comes up 1p or 4p or even a DTD & you can hardly ask them to scan the whole trolley of goodies0 -
I used some of the pictures that were a few pages back, picked up 4, 3 scanned at 4p and the last scanned at 1.75 but I put it through anyway, it was a SS11 but technically half price. Will return it tomorrow!

Signing off now, get well soon to all those who are not too well or have someone to worry about who isn't, strength to those who need it & for goodness sake can someone come up with a good glitch!
I was trying to hear a conversation tonight it concerned the Gold Cadburys chocolate biscuit tin, the wrong weight & £5. The customer was telling the manager he shouldn't accuse him of what I don't know he was offered a refund but wanted more? but didn't say the magic words DTD so I have no clue really. Finally anyone who wants the 4.5tog Slumberdown single duvet for £1.90 there are two left in Twickenham they are in a black zip up bag.
Happy hunting everyone0 -
Has anybody had any luck with the scanners in Gr*msb* or cl**th*rp*s store today or yesterday as they have always worked brilliantly for me and today they just says ''please contact a member of staff for assistance'' so annoying!!!
Although i did get a couple of the £2 teapots for family members and the chicken scanned at £4 so got free chicken.
