Wedding Shoes?

  • Irregular Choice shoes are lovely!!! If they did the Windsor shoe (Dekazer's choice) in bright purple they would be my wedding shoes. But they don't. :(

I bought my wedding shoes about a month ago. They're white mary jane style doc martens. And were an absolute bargain (less than £20). I can't wear heels any more (due to ME/fibro and associated wobbliness issues) and just happened across these in a shop.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

My other half is buying my shoes as his gift to me (as though marrying me isn't enough).

I'm getting some designer ones as I've always longed for a pair and the timing just seems right. I wont get to wear my dress again but the shoes I can bring out for special occasions. I like this kind of shoe http://www.shoeperwoman.com/2010/05/shoe-kryptonite-jimmy-choo-red-patent-quiet-peep-toes.html however as I'm getting married in 2013 I might chance my mind by then.
I'm the same on the shoes to wear again front. I've got a pair of leopard print Jimmy Choos that my parents have bought me. I'll wear them again, and our colours are gold, cream and brown, so kinda justify the colours!

Lorna01 - I love the white ones. Try New Look for cheaper version of the sparkly ones - I looked in there today and there are some very similar. I have to say also that I have found New look shoes fab for one offs or going out shoes. No one ever guesses they are new look either.

Wanchai, they are beautiful and will go nicely with that dress you ordered.

I'm still undecided about colour - my bridesmaids are in all white and I have a suspicion that if I stick coloured shoes on they will distract everyone!
