    Hello everyone,

I need a little bit of shoe inspiration, what has everyone chosen for their wedding shoes? Does anyone have any photos to share?

I am not a high-heel girl (I have to wear steel toe cap boots for work so don't get much of a chance for pretty shoes!) but do need a bit of height to even out the height difference between me and my OH. I do want something a little different colourful-I love Irregular Choice shoes but the price puts me off.

I love this heel height but I must have odd shaped feet as when I tried them on the strap was too short and only just met the buckle.

I do have til May to get some shoes, but thought there will be lots of party Christmas shoes around at this time of year.
    What are you all wearing?

I also love these very much, the heel height is much more me as well! :D As is the price, I suspect... :o

  • Another one that doesn't wear heels. I just don't seem to be able to stand in them for very long before they cripple me

Yesterday I went wedding dress shopping & they had me in heels & I was surprised at how comfy they are. They had just a little heel in them. I was going to wear a nice pair of flat pumps....

I'm not going to buy a expensive pair but will buy a pair that can be dyed so I have a nice pair if comfy shoes for after
    Getting married Sat 1st September.
Saving like mad for the next 40 weeks
  • This is something that I am dreading! I must have flat feet or something cause I can't walk in heels for more then about half hour without my feet burning and I can't walk any more. I've tried all the insoles and grips to pad it out but it doesn't work. I'll have to stand in the church for an hour, then most of the afternoon for photos and reception drinks outside plus facing at night.
I like the idea if wedges but not sure I'll be able to find any that look "weddingy". My dress just touches the floor with no shoes on so I only wanted a small heel so I can walk and they won't show under my dress too much :)
Saving my pennies for my wedding on 10th August 2013! :D :j

I had similar shoe issues! Wanted to wear heels but can't walk in them for more than 10 minutes, so thought wedges would be ideal. But I couldn't find any weddingy or glittery ones at all. I ended up wearing these, and couldn't believe how comfy they were. I wore them all day and night - from 5PM to 9AM. And they are a great lookalike for a Jimmy Choo pair that I saw in a magazine for £650! :O

The Choos that they look like (I think these are the ones anyway. The pic I saw was in an old mag):

Even those I posted the fab link and they are my dream shoes.... I'm currently signed off sick with a problem with my foot. I have been told it is very unlikely that I'll be able to wear heals. I'm waiting for my operation date and I'm just hoping once I've had the op I'm ok, and on my wedding day I can have the shoes I want.

I'm going to also have platform trainers for the wedding as a full day in heals would be too much for me.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

    I got mine yesterday: http://www.irregularchoice.com/shop/womens/product/4353/windsor.html?offset=7
They cost more than my dress, but in my priorities list the shoes came high (plus I'll wear them again, MANY times :) )

Like others have said before, I didn't want a big heel as my dress is the perfect length without, but it's quite "free-flowing" and hung better on me when I was wearing a small heel. These are about 3.5cm and sooooo comfy. They were an Ebay bargain at half RRP too!!

I wasn't keen on peep toes, and really struggled to find closed-toe shoes with a small heel - all the pointed toes looked like boats in a size 7 with such a low heel - but these are a "short-point", kind of a cross between a round and point and the tiny bit of detail matches my dress perfectly too.
