Wedding Shoes?

Hello everyone,

I need a little bit of shoe inspiration, what has everyone chosen for their wedding shoes? Does anyone have any photos to share?

I am not a high-heel girl (I have to wear steel toe cap boots for work so don't get much of a chance for pretty shoes!) but do need a bit of height to even out the height difference between me and my OH. I do want something a little different colourful-I love Irregular Choice shoes but the price puts me off.

I love this heel height but I must have odd shaped feet as when I tried them on the strap was too short and only just met the buckle.

I do have til May to get some shoes, but thought there will be lots of party Christmas shoes around at this time of year.
What are you all wearing?

They are cute - like little tap shoes! I am on the hunt for some wedges I think,I find them the most comfortable to wear for along period of time and I can gain 4/5" without the pain! Will you go for a colour? I can't decide whether this will make people go 'wow' or just notice the shoes and not the dress!!!

Platforms and wege shoes are good for people who dont like heels. Or if you want a heel get a chunkier heel rather than a spindle one.

Take flipflops for the evening too!

My other half is buying my shoes as his gift to me (as though marrying me isn't enough).

I'm getting some designer ones as I've always longed for a pair and the timing just seems right. I wont get to wear my dress again but the shoes I can bring out for special occasions. I like this kind of shoe http://www.shoeperwoman.com/2010/05/shoe-kryptonite-jimmy-choo-red-patent-quiet-peep-toes.html however as I'm getting married in 2013 I might chance my mind by then.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

I just love them. I have always wanted some jimmy choos or christian louboutin's (the red sole ahhhh) but you know how expensive they are.

OH said as a 'treat' and hell I didn't have to be asked twice. :j

I defo want red, and these are the ones that have stuck out so far. Although I will keep searching..............

Those shoes are awesome!! I think I'd break my ankle within 5 minutes though :o

I want some bright purple shoes; I love the idea of a little peek of colour at the bottom of my dress! The style I want is quite similar to those ones the OP showed - dolly shoes, t-bars, etc, or maybe even a lace-up. I want them vintage-looking.

Oh I so wanted red high heels for the wedding! Only problem was finding some mid height ones, as I am almost as tall as my husband (got to get used to that!). He was very keen, but in the end I went for traditional white ones... not as exciting, but must say Rainbow shoes are super comfortable. Wore them all day and night without any issue - not something I can normally do with heels!
