The important thing it it's all heading in the right direction. As you knoiw mini goals keep me going.
Had some family and work pressures. Couldn't handle them and the DMP so walked away from MSE for a couple of weeks. Missed it though

Morning Mrs P
Yes you are right the early morning was a bit of a killer and as I have said this morning was even worse, as I fell back to sleep:rotfl:
Most unlike me as I am normally wide awake with the larks.
Last full day at home today so need to make the most of it.
Hope all is well in the Pinot household, catch up later.

Oh no !! You will need to be setting yourself two alarms to ensure you drag yourself out of bed. I do that with DD1, but it still doesnt work !
I have another busy day today but will drop over and take a look at your SOA, whats the betting its not as bad as mine !!!:rotfl:

Well the sun is shining and I dont want to be working, I want to be camping !! All this talk of Camping the other day over on Mrs B's diary has got me wanting to hide away in a field and chill out ! Ive been looking at the diary to see when we might manage a weekend, but sadly it looks like August and thats not good news !:( Its too far away ! The trailer is packed and ready to go, so we just need a few days off of work ! Anyway I will carry on dreaming !
So today is really busy, but I have zipped the hover around, had a quick polish throughout and made the beds, done a quick couple of bits of ironing, rung my mum and I am now cracking on with more work in the office. After suffering badly with Cabin Fever these last few weeks, I am going to pop into a friends later for a quick coffee and my other friend whose birthday present I still need to get her will be there too, so I will get to catch up quickly with them both. I will also drop into my sisters as I need to drop something off to her, so I'm hoping it will be a productive day !
DD2 at a Netball Tournament later and DD1 will be descending with some friends as they have a school project to finish of which they have to be in groups for. They are doing the poweerpoint at someone elses house and I have somehow drawn the short straw and the baking of the model and decorating of it is being done here ! No doubt that will clash with me trying to make dinner.........speaking of which has anyone any sugestions of something exciting I can make with 2 thick gammon slices, between 4 of us, a bag of new pots, some dumplings (?) bag of lentils , some bendy carrots, whoopsie baby corn and some slightly yellowing broccoli ? I need to conjure up something slightly interesting if possible ! We are down to the last few pennies, as we are still owed quite alot of money that is overdue now:mad:, so we have been frantically chasing it, but therefore, unless I raid the emergency pots which I refuse to do unless its a matter of life and death , I need to conjure up something scrummy from the list above !!! xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

P.S. At the dinner table I always struggle to contain my sniggering when somebody asks 'if I'd like stuffing'....get's me every time.
Alice I meant to reply to this the other, you did make me giggle. We had friends for Sunday Lunch a few weeks ago and felt quite mortified when Mr Pinot was helping dish up and quite innocently asked my friend if she would like stuffing, it never fails to make me snigger ! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I'd stick the gammon slices in the slow cooker. Steam the veg and serve with a cheese or parsley sauce.
Just make sure you stand to the left when you serve and of course smile, for you Sir......
Hope you get some good suggestions and relief from cabin fever!

Do I need to stick them in the slow cooker with anything, or just on their own ? I usually make things with sauces in the slow cooker ? Parsley Sauce sounds a good thought, I havent had that in years. Mr Pinot pretends he is allergic to cheese ( he isnt, just a big baby and doesnt like it !) He gets home this evening from a few days away so I may not be flavour of the month if I offer him up cheese sauce !!
I will fold a tea towel on my arm, bow and put on my best Italian accent ( not sure what accent I should really do when serving Gammon , (should it be West Country rather than Italian ?!!) when served !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

By itself will be fine. The other option is do with apple so the purree serves as a sauce.
Enjoy

Afternoon Mrs P, ooh I'd have made pie mmm, chopped up all the veg , whacked it into a pie dish, chopped up the gammon and thrown that in, some kind of white sauce if you fancy, top with slices of potato, bake in the oven mmm.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
