ooops, should have read the rest of the thread before posting - you *know* they're snapdragons now!
Sorry to hear that you've been having some trauma - I'm wondering if it's the time of year (and hormones) as, as you'll see from my diary, things haven't exactly been calm at this end either xxOur LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

Hi Mrs P. I felt that you needed a hug after just catching up on your posts from yesterday. Glad things appear to be better now and you accomplished a lot of things yesterday.
I know how you feel when you realise about the girls will want to go to university. My daughter is going this year and thankfully she will get free tuition as we are in Scotland. She either has to stay on campus or hopefully she can get into the nearest uni but then the monthly bus fare is about £150.
Then she will want to get married as she is 17 at present. Hopefully not for at least four years.
At least your DD's are a lot younger.
You are an inspiration to us all, Mrs P, and Mr P sounds great. Always happy to carry on and reading between the lines he loves you all dearly.
Have a great week-end and have a rest. You deserve it! :TJune 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15

Have already been out, done the shopping, put wm on and now just having a bite to eat and quick look on MSE before I do some chores.
Going to the cinema this afternoon with a good friend to see the best Exoctic Marigold hotel. Really looking forward to it as I like Judi Dench Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy et al.:j

My Virtual wine, did indeed become real wine last night NewRoad. Snuggled up ont he sofa with the girls eating Piza, drinking wine and catching up on a few episodes of Cougar town.
I am sure you will love the movie. I managed to get hold of some preview tickets for the same film a few weeks ago and took my mum ot watch it ! Absolutely loved it, and as I have always had wanderlust and India is somewhere I have never visited, I decided to put that on my list of must visit one day !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Thankyou for the hug ! Bet those posts took you forever to read !! Your lucky the uni tuition is free, but the bus fares will be alot of extra cash to find wont they ? I am hoping my girls wont want to get married until at least 30, then we will have longer to save !!

Right, well I have dusted myself down, given myself a slap for being so damn miserable and here I am. :rotfl:
Despite it being a miserable old day, I have been a busy bee. Couple of loads of washing and drying done, more hanging on the still broken old airer as I havent got my act together yet to replace it still !
Made some yummy bacon sarnies earlier with DD2 to kick start the day, and dropped DD1 at Music Rehearsals for 9am, due to finish at 3, then I got a text from the Boss Man to say 4. At 11.45, DD1 rings and asks to be collected. Obviously I questioned this but she was told she was no longer needed and could go home. So I jumped in the car, fuel tank below red, stuck £30 in, it doesnt last long in my car and hot footed it 25 mins down the road back to rehearsals. When I get there, she comes out to meet us to be told the Boss Man is hopping mad with the other teacher and she cant go home and needs to stay until 4 after all, so can I go home and come back again ! Anyway I did as I was told, managed to convince DD2 to do a few pieces of homework while I tackled some ironing
I hate that job soooo much incase you hadnt all guessed.
I have also put together a letter for NatWest Credit Card asking them very nicely to refund the £897.00 worth of charges incl interest on my account. I will pop that one in the post on Monday and await the outcome with baited breath.
Went to wrap the birthday present I had bought my friend ( a very nice picture from HomeSense), but I have now decided it actually looks rather snazzy on my newly painted kitchen wall rather than hers ! So after collecting DD1 at 4pm , I will rush to the shops where I spied some very fancy candles the other day ,retailing at £25.99 online for £5.99. I did treat myself to one :owhich we lit last night and itsmells beautiful. So I know she will like that and think I am very fancy and generous into the bargain. We also need to change some jeans of DD1s that she was bought for her birthday but are indecently too tight, and she wants to wear them for her gig next week, so I will aim to get that out of the way as well. Somewhere in amongst that I will grab some flowers for my mum for tomorrow and I have run out of washing powder and loo roll, not got the hang of this stock piling yet. After doing all of that and also dropping present into friend I am hoping to finally make it home.
Well thats the grand plan, not quite sure if it will fall effortlessly into place but I can but try !!
I hope you are all having a lovely day xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
