  • So pleased to read you found some money in your PayPal account and have been able to do some food shopping. The world definitely looks better on a full stomach.

Reading some of the posts has brought tears to my eyes too. It just goes to show there are still lots of wonderful people who care about you. :D

Mrs F I hope you are ok too, I really havent read the other diaries for a while and am feeling very guilty. Thankyou for sticking around, I am very lucky xx

  • Glad things look a bit brighter. I do hope you can get some money out of your creditors. We are currently 109.00 short of what we need for Friday morning. I really cant see where I can find it! Let the hunt commence.
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Satchmo, thankyou so much for your lovely post, support and suggestions. I am in a very big rush so I cant reply properly now, but I need to let everyone know that after a full day of nagging people, knocking on doors, emailing etc etc it looks as though we have finally come up trumps.

We should see some money in the account by Friday( the first payment of the contract) , not loads but enough to cover a few things, put fuel in the car and food on the table and allow us to breath again. The remittance should be emailed over by close of play today so I am keeping a very beady eye on the inbox, but I am confident it will appear.

I will post again as soon as I see it ( fingers crossed) but I wanted to let you all know after all your support these past few weeks.

I dont want to appear rude Satchmo, I will be back and will of course answer your lovely PM, but must dash off to do more work. x

  • Hi Mrs. PG,

Sorry I haven't been around. You have been through the wringer so much and deserve so much more. So glad to hear there should be light at the end of the tunnel. It's so frustrating when you have done the work but they drag their heels over payments.
Your dd are obviously a credit to you and they will get you through.
    Many hugs xxx

    Hi Mrs PG,
It's good to read some positive news about incoming payments.

I wish I was rich and would help all my DFW friends. I was nearly in tears reading your posts this week and wanted to hug you and would have loved to assist if I could.

Take good care of yourself and your wonderful family.
You're a special person and don't ever forget it. They threw away the mould (hopefully spelt correctly!) when they made you.

    Best wishes,
    Mr B.

Hugs for you again tonight Mrs PG.

Please don't feel pressured about replying, your priorities are to keep body and soul together, and your lovely family safe and sound.

Glad to hear about the promise to pay; I hope they deliver on that promise! Roll on Friday. Is Mr PG having a smidgeon of rest this weekend?

Would it be a viable option for Mr PG to lodge with someone near to his contract, it might be cheaper than fuel. Not nice for you to be apart but perhaps safer than driving whilst exhausted and worried? The same suggestion as you getting a weekday lodger, I guess?

    S x
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

  • I will make DD some sparkly IOU's to go with the couple of bits I have found for her and I will make a card.

    Yxx

I like the idea of sparkly IOUs and may well steal it for my DD's birthday next month. ;)

I think you will have dozens of crossed fingered MSE members on Friday hoping to hear positive news of payments going into your account. Hope everything goes smoothly and that things will pick up for you soon.

  • Morning all,

Im not ignoring you all, I have had computer / internet trouble since yesterday afternoon and couldnt post at all last night, Infact I couldnt do anything on the blasted computer it was very frustrating.

I did get the Remittance, it will show on Fri. Its not loads but I can tax my car for 6 months, I neeed it for work so it must be done as Mr PG will have the other car. I will pay a couple of bills and put a bit more food int he cupboards.:)

Satchmo1, I replied to you twice last night but I lost the lot. Mr PG has pretty much decided to stay in London next week , if our client will pay. It looks as though they may we have a meeting today. We are used to him being away and as he has been telling them it would be far more productive. I saw him briefly last night and he looks like he has been through the mill, I am a bit worried but he tells me not to be. I think you read our minds !

Oh and I have written to the Predators offering the £1 payments for February, I am hoping I can go back to normal in MArch but we will see.

I must dash again now, as the hot water has decided to pack up. I need to go and investigate. Never rains but it pours.

I have a really busy day today, I will try and make it back, if everything continues to work ok.

Thankyou all again, I know Ive said it a million times, but............you know how it is. I am so grateful to you xx
