I seriously have never heard of a social Fund but as you say I have discovered that money so hopefully that will tide me over for now.
You are right, the creditors do really worry me. You may remember I had THEM banging on my door sometime ago and that experience has stayed with me. I tend to put the Predators above everything else which I know I shouldn't and a habit I need to break. I need to make token payments, I really dont want to upset the apple car, they have been so quiet, we are past the review and I havent heard a peepout of them, so I feel by offering token payments I will be brought to their attention. Thankyou for the offer with the letter. I will write something and then run it past you if it looks like it needs some help. I am usually ok on the letters but with my foggy head I am not too sure at the moment and it could end up a load of drivel.
Thankyou, I have stamps with Father Christmas on them !!:rotfl:
The problem with the non priority creditors is that they put the fear of God into everyone and this means people keep to the payments even if they cannot afford it.
You are but a drop in the ocean to them - they don't care what you pay them as long as they get something and have an arrangement.
They will see you have kept to your previous arrangement, have a blip at the moment but hope to restart bigger payments in the future and it will all be fine.
If it does not turn out like that I will eat my hat!!
My new stamps from Royal Mail are the new commerative London Underground ones - I am so excited I have never had commerative stamps before :rotfl:0 -

Hi PG ... glad you have found some money in the pay pal account.. if you do unfortunately find yourself needing food again as EE says a crisis loan might be able to help from the social fund. It is a free phone number and available to anyone working or not. You pay it back without interest and believe me I have had to give the number out to many people working. x
The social fund is part of the Department for work and pensions as of the end of March they will not be available in this form. The local authorities will be dealing with them in whatever form I have no idea0 -
Ah so now it's your turn to realise what wonderful people there are in the world. The majority of these folk made me weep last week through their kindness and love. I suspect that's what they're doing to you now.

Sorry everyone, I had to rush out after my last post and have not long been back home. I am working my way through your lovely PMs and still trying to read your messages here also. I will reply to you all I promise. I find it very very hard to accept help in any shape or form, always have done and knowing me I always will. Its not a good quality of mine.
I have some food to keep us going now I redid the shop with the Paypal money this evening.
Despite everything I can honestly say that I feel like the luckiest person in the world right now to have such lovely friends on here.
I am shattered, will try and make it back tomorrow .
Thankyou again , you have helped me so much today xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
