At least he realised before the car broke down, unlike my good self last year ! Thankfully a police car was passing and towed me home !! :rotfl:

We have breakdown cover on one of the cars with Swinton , its £7.99 a month and I believe there was cashback as well.

  • Morning all,

No horrible tales to tell unlike yesterday morning. All was calmish and cleanish in the Pinot household this morning thankfully.

Nothing much to report really on the monetary front.

Now the Tax bill is paid, I wont be updating the National Debt as much and I really miss seeing those figures reduce. I havent paid the Predators this month yet, but hopefully some money will show on Monday and I will pay them and update the figures.

Ebay sales, currently standing at £80 and are due to finish on Saturday.

DD2 has a Hollywood themed party to go to in a few weeks, found her a beautiful T0p Sh0p glittery dress which I ahve seen in the store for about £70 and managed to bid and won it for £10.73 :D. She is a happy girl, just hope it fits her, but if not I will pop it back up on ebay.

The NHBC still havent called back to arrange another appointment to look at the roof :(

DD1's hospital app has come through which I am pleased about, we were expecting January, but I have a date in two weeks time which is great. :D

Mr Pinot due home tonight :D:D

DD2 poorly in bed with yet another throat infection and cold. The girls keep coming down with these. I dose them up with vitamins, they eat loads of fruit, get lots of fresh ir and excersie. They drink milk by the gallon, fresh juice and smoothies so I ahve no idea why on earth they keep on coming down with these bugs although she has been really really tired since starting secondary school. :(

Car Repairs booked in for next Tuesday. They are giving me a shiny new car for four days ! :T

Thats it really nothing of much interest to report. Its hard keeping the momentum of the diaries going when its just everyday mundane stuff really, but I will keep plodding on.

If I dont post again today, have a lovely weekend all xx

  • Mrs PG! And so the drama continues...!

I have to agree with Piq, this diary is definitely the MSE equivalent of Eastenders! Always makes me smile, and you do so well juggling all of the things life throws at you (or the cat sprays at you!)

Look at that signature too! You must be pleased with that progress!!!

  • Morning all,

Thanks Piq and Mr D, I think you are probably right, Eastenders or just Car Crash Diary not sure which really !! It is hard to think what rubblish to ramble on about particularly whent he National Debt isnt goign down as quickly as I would like. I am very impatient though !

DD2 is feeling better thankyou, very very pale and poorly looking but she rallied herself yesterday and managed the last dance show last night at the Theatre . Both girls looked lovely in their beautiful costumes and danced well. They wont be dancers, they dont want to be but I think its lovely that they still want to do it. Bit of exercise, lots of friends and it keeps them on the straight and narrow !! :D No more shows now until March that I am aware of anyway ! Phew !!

The Cat now has Worms !! Yuk ! Mr Pinot came home last ngiht and they got into a bit of an argument over him taking the tablet ! He is normally very good but Mr Pinot came out worse for wear Im afraid on this occasion ! He was pretty angry, with blood pouring down his hand. I thought it was a little scratch but it was a full blown chunk taken out of his hands . He said he had tried to clear the blood off of the walls ( the same walls the cat had sprayed earlier in the week !) I honestly thought he was exaggerating, but on closer inspection there are still signs of his wounds, up the walls, on the skirting boards and all over the floor . What a mess !! I really think I need to re paint !! :rotfl:

What else so far this weekend, let me think !

Oh I was bad :( , I treated myself to a melting clock ! Well it looks as though its melting. I love it !! :D My Girls are a nightmare for time so I have put this clock at the bottom of the stairs , next to the front door so they have no excuse in the morning to tell me they dont know the time and miss the bus on a regular basis ! Watches just dont appear to be the done thing anymore ! Clearly not trendy enough :p

Oh and my three items that I had on ebay all ended yesterday. £110 in the pot !! :T:T Yey !!! I have a few small bits that wont bring much but I will try and get them up for sale today if I can.

Well the sun in shining...the kitchen and hall and dining room floors have been cleaned, washing is on.The girls have made their beds and are doing some homework. I am hoping that we can pop on our wellies and head for a nice walk along the river. I may even take some money from my Magic Drawer and treat us to a hot chocolate. :D DD1 though is making murmerings about a trip to the cinema with her cronies. she is getting older now and we are quite boring in comparison ! I am very old fashioned I think and have always felt that Sunday is family day, not friends day even though Mr Pinot isnt here so its not a proper family day ! It appears I am in the minority though so I think she sometimes suffers with me saying she cant see ehr friends on a Sunday ! Something I need to get over maybe . :o

Right I am off now......Hope you all are having a lovely weekend xx
