the worst part was ds1 was dying to have a look at someone elses grades! But i didn't want to show him in case the grades weren't very good - i know how boys like to tease, my own son no exception there !

That horrendous about the report DFW, but as I said before its similarish to what happened with us and DD2. DD1 dooesn't get proper reports just silly graphs with her progress at the end of each term . It drives me mad as its nice to hear how she mixes with the other kids, if shes happy etc etc , not only how her grades are doing. When I questioned a teacher friend of mine who happens to work at the school, I was told they were far too busy teaching to possibly have time to write reports !! Forgive me if I'm wrong any teachers out there, but I thought that writing of childrens reports was part of the job spec ?

Anyway off to jolly my two along for school. Will be back later with stories of my altercation with a car park barrier yesterday !! Oops !!:o

This is turning into a mad old week, bring on a lazy lazy week with nothing to do !!:D

DD2s play is tonight having had rehearsals each night until 8pm Monday and Tuesday and most of last week as well  . Last night was the dress Rehearsal, so off she trotted at 6pm with her hair all curled and pinned and her stage make up on !! She looked so gorgeous :D

Mr Pinot managed to collect the new dressing table for her, and somehow managed to get it home on the tube and the overhead, across the station car park and into the car ! He must be truly bonkers but his point was that if he drove into London we would have to pay the congestion charge, so he decided to struggle through London instead with a pretty white dressing table !! DD1 and I cleared DD2s room while she was at rehearsal and we managed to get it up the sairs , and put back together again before she came home. It looks lovely. DD1 decorated it with little perfume bottles and we found an unused pretty white bedside lamp that belonged to DD1 and lit her dressing table with that, pulled the blinds, put all of her fairy lights on and left her to come home, go up to her room to put her PJS on and find it !! She was over the moon, let our a huuge, loud squeal when she saw it and came flying down the stairs to throw herself on us as a thankyou ! It needs a proper clean, I will try and do that today, but she is really pleased with it. She then spent an hour with her big sister putting all her smellies and girly bits and bobs all organised in the drawers ! She needs a stool still, but she does have a desk in her rom, so she used her desk chair this morning and was quite happy with that ! So another perfect ebay find and an happy little girl !

DD1 had Sports day and won silver and a Gold, so I was a proud mummy again yesterday. Unfortunatley I didnt get to see the races due to work but I have been trying to teach myself that I cant always be at everything they do and cut myself some slack ! I'm still learning !!

So after getting some work done yesterday , I took my mumm shopping for an hour or so to buy the teachers present. There was a collection, but DD2 wanted to buy something from her alone and as the same teacher had taught DD1 also and I had forgotten that year :o to buy her a present I agreed it ! My mum treated the girls to a lovely pair of bright coloured skinny jeans each from H&M, which they were thrilled to bits with ! We had a lovely few hours and grabbed lunch in M&S, again my mum paid, I think she must have won the lottery and is keeping quiet :rotfl: , but we sadly had a slight altercation as mentioned above with the car park barrier !!

On the way in, having passed underneath it, there was a rather big crunch. One of those where you dearly hope that the crash and crunch didnt come from your car but from someone elses, but by the looks on the peoples faces who were walking across the car park at the time,it quite clearly was me !! I jumped out , thankfully the barrier was still attached , but what I stupidly had'nt realised was that the roof bars and bike rack were still on the top of my car from t the weekend . I was quite calm and decided to park up , as there appeared to be no damage, go shopping, then worry about how I was going to get back out of the car park later on !Thats me all over though, I worry myself stupid over some things, but the the small matter of how I will get out of a car park that I have nearly created havoc in didnt really bother me. Mum on the other hand was rather concerned.:rotfl: I climbed on the side bars and took a look like a true professional ,as to how to remove the bars, but without a clamp of some description, it wasnt going anywhere ! I decided against having a chat with the car park attendant just incase I had caused any damage :o. So off I went merrily window shopping ! It dawned on me whilst shopping though that I have been in multi storeys many times before with the roof bars on, not the actual top box, but the bars have never caused a problem, so decided that their barrier must be faulty somehow. It also occured to me that Range Rovers and Discoveries are much higher cars than mine and I had spotted some in the car park also with roof bars, so figured that they must have got in ok. Anyway we trundled back to the car where mum was still concerning herself with how we would get back out. I told her I would drive to the exit and assess the situation from there knowign there was a car wash company at the exit so decided if push came to shove I could nicely ask the car wash man if he could hold the barrier up a bit higher for me if need be!!Anyway thankfully neither was necessary. I watched the car in front leave and realised that the barrier was much higher than the one on the way in and we escaped from the car park without drama., other than my poor mum, whose nerves were in slight shreds after this little adventure !!! ;)

So, this all brings me to today. we have been paid, so I will be making payments to the inland revenue today at some point and in turn will provide another signat ure update.:j

I have in the region of 6/7 ebay parcels to wrap and post and another 5 or 6 items I am hoping to pop up for sale . :D

I am going to call the hospital and beg for an earlier appointment with the consultant, but wont hold my breath on that one.

I must finish the books for the business and get them to the Accountant as once the girls are on school hols I wont get as much time.

I also had a letter from Halifax finally to say they will happily look into my PPI claim ( this is the one that I am not actually 100 per cent sure we actually paid PPI on as it was a buy now pay later agreement), but they have apparently lost all of the original paperwork, or have never received it so I need to copy it all and send again.

I think that is all the plans I have for now, but as I have been paid I am in desperate need of doing a big food shop and also have a rummage through the cupboards to see exactly what we have, but I am unsure I will have time for that also. DD2 needs to be back at school all made up again for the real Performance of the Show tonight by 5.30. My parents and DD1 are coming to watch her also . I have a ticket for Mr Pinot but show starts 7pm and he officially finishes at 8pm in centre of London this evening. He offered to work late last night though, so I am hoping that if it is quiet, he will sneak off in time to watch her, even if its only the second half where she is singing her solo.

So looks to be another mammoth posting by me and a busy old day !!

Are you all well ?? XXX

    Wow Pinot:eek:

    Crazy week indeed!

The barrier story made me laugh, which I know is rather naughty of me.:o

Great news there is more money coming in, and I see you are still pounding away at the eBay. Any chance some of that could rub off on me? I am literally running out of time!

Sounds like a nice little treat for the girls with the H&M jeans, and lunch courtesy of your Mum:D. Also what a lovely surprise with the dressing table, and bless your hubby for dragging it half way across London! I have enough trouble getting myself across London!:rotfl::rotfl:

OMG goodness, please dont tell me someone laughed at you about the Crazy Cake Lady Story ? Tell me who she was and I will go roudn there and give her a piece of my mind. How rude !!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Your mental image of Mr Pinot was completely wrong, Mankini, ManBag to hold his ipad and Girly White Dressing Table split into three parts. He managed to strap the top and gladd section to a trolley he borrowed from work and held the mirror and legs I believe ! He must have been a stunning sight on the 8pm Liverpool Street Train !!! :D

I will allow laughter with regards to my Barrier Story as I found it rather funny myself, but I did feel a tad sorry for my mum, although she wouldnt admit it, she was a little perplexed by the whole situation !! :rotfl:I will call her later to see if she has recovered !

You are seriously running out of time, but I am gobsmacked at how many treasures you seem to have had in your house over these past few years ! I was relaying your Next Cushion story to Mr Pinot last night, not actually sure if he was that interested as he was underneath the dressing table at the time, but he oohed and aahed in the right places so that was good enough for me !! I am using the ebay App on the I pad, so it is as easy as you like and apparently if you are the lucky owner of the ipad 2 or 3 with the camera, even easier. I'm not, but am lucky enough in general to have one at all !

Now get off your bum and start ebaying like a crazy lady madam ! :D
