Whats a girl to do when MSE is closed for Maintenance from midnight ? I have sat for the past one and half hours googling my life away, looking at houses on Rightmove (I dont want a house) , trying to do the Lottery ( out of boredom ) that was down for maintenance too and so I then bought some Bunting on EBay to hang on the tents, for the hell of it, desperately waiting for MSE to reopen !!! So due to the fact of having no MSE I have spent money

It has now at 4am !!:T all is up and running therefore I am a happy girl ! :D

I have nothing to talk about at this hour, well nothing relevant or coherent really ! we didnt buy the Bucket, as I was asked in an earlier posting, but DD2 made the most awesome breakkie a la Jamie on the campfire on Saturday morning. She was Chef, Daddy was Sous Chef as he was having a bit of a sulk as he always cooks when Camping and needed a job to do, so she got to boss him around and telling him what he needed to chop and stir ! DD1 and I got the job of Washing it all up....must learn to delegate better !

The Mud Bath threatening to engulf our little bit of peace and tranquility became a slice of Hell for poor Mr Pinot who we have decided has some form of Mud OCD ! Most certainly not helped that in true MSE style and completley unbeknown to me he doesnt own a pair of wellies, refused to buy any despite the forecast ,as he wanted to save money , and therefore spent the weekend in his much loved Camping Crocs with the mud squishing between his toes ! I did offer to drive to the nearest Tesco on Sunday morning to purchase a pair for him but he declined and thankfully the sun came out a little. In time for a beer and glass of Pimms to cheer us up and while away our troubles !!!

Mr Pinot back at work now and flying back home from Inverness on friday when we will head off back to the tents weather permitting ! We have a party we shouldbe attending but the thought of escaping again is more appealing and as our next contract has been changed by 2 days it does mean that amazingly Mr Pinot currently has another Sat and Sunday off, these will be his last days off until the end of August, so I think its worth us taking them !

Right I willbe off now." Talk "to you all tomorrow xx

Yes you are right I was worrying about him, and too be honest after a few very frank chats, and slightly out of character things that went on over the weekend, I think I had every right to be worried . I wont go into things on here , as I'm sure you all understand and it wouldnt be fair on him, but needless to say, I am keeping a very very close eye on him :undecided. Well as close as I can when hes goign to scotland !! :rotfl:

It wasnt fab, infact I can safely say its the worst camping weekend we have ever had , and I know the rest of The Pinot Family would agree with me, but this was not necessarily due to the weather conditions, but nonetheless , there were some fun moments, but not as many as usual. Having not spent time together properly for such a long time proved quite tough, and the stress we have been under didnt help and we were possibly a bit short tempered with each other, but its all fine and we will hopefully get back into normal camping mode next weekend. :D

Granny have I already said how much we loved your Camping Smiley ??!!! When you ahve tiem we ould lie another one, they really do make the diary look very pretty indeed !!! :)

Its all fine though which is the main thing , lots of outside influences were involved as well, so it was just one of those things. Im still pleased we went. You never know how much longer the girls will want to continue coming with us for really either !! :(

Shame about the camping poppet, at least you are still pleased you went :).

Take some time to reflect on how far you have come, and how different your spending is now compared to pre-lightbulb moment. You are a special lady, leading a special family xx

Oh thankyou, thats so very kind ! If I may return those words straight back to you, I would be honoured . Actually I think I will send them to each and every one of my lovely friends on here, including Mr B, who is a special man not a lady as you all know but am sure you get the general idea what I am trying to say !!! :rotfl:

I actually come out in a sweatand the shakes now if I spend any money !! I feel so guilty for buying £8 Bunting for the tent, but I did actually try and make some once upon a time, but not being very handy, I cut the triangles, fabric glued the hems and then stapled them to the hangy bit. They lasted one night in Norfolk a few years ago !!! That was the end of my venture into anything too crafty !!! :rotfl:

Bless you. Relationships and families are not easy all the time even when it's a very loving family like yours. Whether you like it or not you are the lynchpin of your family and it's your role to keep it together and you do it fantastically well!

It's a shame the camping trip wasn't perfect, but it had laughter and love so wasn't a disaster and you're going again next weekend, it will be better.

As Gargrave says you're a very special lady, it will all come right one day.
