We've got someone coming to the house tomorrow to quote for sorting out our back garden. Because we don't often get home till later at night, and it rains most weekends, we have only had one cut (actually a strim, so not particularly short) on our lawn this year, after having our last cut in August last year! Our back garden is currently doing an excellent impression of a hay field!
Would rather not be paying someone to do it, but would also quite like our neighbour NOT to file for an ASBO because of our garden :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I suspect Mrs Pinot could be the new letter writer when I leave

I've got beads to bag here, so once I've got the orders packed up and sent, it's going to be sofa, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and my bead counting boards for the rest of the day I think.0

She has big shoes but you know what that means - big feet!
And no, I am not wearing that hat, my hat is the one saying I know what to do with a constipated tree frog.
Ive not heard that written correspondance is frowned upon down under, so she can keep on with her job in hand, and you can be her deputy. Decisions made.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Well my Jamie Oliver Feastival Cook book has arrived, we are sort of packed. We have done some work, been paid
, made another trip to the bank and chased up the possible work for September so all looking good.
Campsite emailed early this morning to say they are a tad waterlogged and no cars to be parked near tents or they will sink in the mud, but thats not a problem. Mr Pinot is checking everything in trailer is ok and we are planning to leave by 3.30 when we collect DD2. She wants to go to the school fete, I hate them with a passion so am being grumpy mum and have said no !! She leaves next week anyway never to return so I would rather spend that money on a bag of marshmallows to toast on the fire !!
I will bid you all farewell now, but may be back with the odd post over the weekend ,especially if its raining !!! xx:wave:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
