    Hellooooooo!

Piq, I am still smiling, goodness knows how! Us PinotGrigios must be made of sturdy stuff!

Of course you are and long may it continue

Girls both off to sleepovers this evening, this is the week we were planning on taking the girls out of school for a few days and going camping, but with all the dramas it's not going to happen now. Mr Pinot and I have always said that we would love to go camping just the two of us one day, so we have decided that this evening once the children have gone today we are going to sling the girls pop up tent in the car for ease, rather than pitching our tent and heading off to our favourite site which is only 45 mins away. We will cook some sausages on the fire , drink a few glasses of vino and chill out together, which is much needed. Mr Pinot was concerned how I would get on sleep wise but my logic is that I can't sleep anyway at home, so I may as well give the camping beds a try.it can't be any worse:D. We rarely do things on a whim, so this is our adventure for the weekend!

Hope you have a wonderful time, you both deserve it with what you have been through just recently, enjoy the chill out and the vino:j:j

Oh our drama for today is that we have a squirrel stuck on the roof of the house. How on earth it got up there we will never know , but it sure as hell can't get back down again! Mr Pinot has bolted together some wooden posts the height of the house and propped them up against the side of the house for the squirrel to try and make his way down. We have planted some nuts in strategic places in an attempt to lure him down :rotfl:

Squirrels not my favourite animals as they ate all my bulbs, have bought some new plants today and if they come anywhere near will feel boot up their proverbial butts :rotfl:

NRA, I haven't forgotten you either. I will get back to you.

Just worry about yourself , the girls and Mr P ( we are all fine and will deal with things, anyway compared to you my lifes a doddle at the mo :p)

Look forward to hearing about your camping adventures

    Love

Ah that sounds lovely, you and Mr P having a night away in the tent :). You'll be surrounded by all those woodland creatures - it'll be just like being at home :D. Hope the squirrel has made a safe escape.

I've got my fingers crossed that the roofers can sort you out and BT can get you going - they are a nightmare to deal with. x

Well we haven't actually gone anywhere yet !

Roofer number 2 didn't seem to think the problems was quite as bad as Roofer number 1 , so hopefully he is correct!

Mr Squirrel has decided to have a nap in the guttering and is very dis interested in the ramp Mr Pinot has made for him! DD2 decided we needed to call in the RSPCA so set about providing me the phone and the number. Their advice was to entice him down with food ! The local wildlife centre that she so kindly found me the number for next clearly thought I was a bit barking mad particularly when I explained all about the lovely ramp we have made him which is balanced up to the guttering, in his opinion if he got up there then he can get back down. I'm just worried he will find his way ino the same hole the birds have come in through, then I will have squirrel anarchy to deal with !
This is beginning to remind me of something out of the Ice Age Films, with nutty squirrel chasing the acorn !
Mrs Happy I'm sure you are right, we will feel very much at home amongst the wild animals if we ever make it to the campsite!

I'm off to try and load the car now while Mr Pinot is mending a fence.

Oh, just quikly, Have had a lovely few words on the phone this afternoon with westcot who have declared that I haven't been paying them, despite the money leaving my account for theirs for the last 5 months. They have therefore now passed the incorrect amount of debt to another debt collection agency and are denying receiving ny payments from me !, looks like more manic angry letter writing next week.

Gargrave if you are reading, I know how much you love Wescot, if you have any lovely suitably sarcastic letter writing advice to them for me, it would be much appreciated please !!

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine xxx:D

  • Apologies Pinot, I seem to have posted on your diary instead of mine. Says a lot about the way I was feeling yesterday. :o

I hope you and Mr PG manage to get away for your wee adventure and that the squirrel doesn't take up residence in your roof!

Hope you managed to get away Saturday night after the week you have had.

Did the games-emoticon-0005.gif manage to get down from the roof.

What with the misc-emoticon-0035.gif before him you are building a menagerie slowly.

Hope this week proves to be less eventful than last or at least more lucky if it has to be so full on.
