Hi Mrs Pinot and the Tena ladies. Could be the name of a pop group. If you ladies do start a pop group and use the name I'll want a percentage of your takings. ;)

Sorry to read about your catalogue of problems. Everything seems to come at once. I hope you're back is sorted soon.

Thanks for all the support you give us. You're a legend. :)

Well................ I swear of am living in the middle of a soap opera of which I have the starring role.............on a tenth of the pay!

10 mins after my last post on Monday BT arrived to supply infinity, only to be told it wouldn't be switched on until midnight on Monday ...."..................guess who's Still waiting :rotfl:

They made a humongous pigs ear of it and having spent all of yesterday working on it as well and arriving again today. The left hand clearly doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Hence my absence and oh how I've missed you all !!! :D

Mr Pinot has nipped off to get punctured tyre replaced, as the good news in, we did get some money in ! :j

But, we are still waiting for the windscreen! That arrived this morning finally , but it wasn't for our car ! So, off it went back to warehouse and we are currently making app number 3 for windscreen repairs!

DD1 still appears to have glass or something in her foot, we were at hospital yesterday where she had an MRI, I was tempted to ask them to take a look at her toe while they were taking images of her neck !

Roofer due to come today to quote for repairs, but he has gone suspiciously quiet .

So..............as I have hi jacked mr Pinots i pad p whilst he has gone , best I dash off now!! I didnt realise how much I relied on the Internet particularly for work and chatting to you all, but I am soooooo behind with work after the BT balls up its crazy.

I will catch up with you all as soon as I can, take care everyone !X

Mr F and I got up at ridiculous o'clock this morning to take DS1 to his football game and arrived to find only 4 other players had bothered to turn up  so they had to forfeit the game!:mad: It's so hard on those that do turn up. Fortunately the other team were good sports and loaned us some players so at least they still got a game, even though it didn't count. We even managed to rope DS1's friend into playing (he's on a sleepover with us this weekend) and he'd never played before! Then home via the bakery as it was 11.00 a.m. and we were all starving. Not even a coffee before we left the house this morning as we ran out of milk and I can't drink black coffee.

The oven we bought is slightly smaller than our old one so Mr F is now trying to pack out the slot it sits in. Not sure what what it'll look like when it's finished but so long as I have a working oven I don't care (at this point). Still got to find an electrician to come and wire up which is proving more difficult. :(

More money has been spent as the pump for the fish tank stopped working a few weeks ago and even though we've been very good at cleaning it out, it's still looking very dirty and so new pump it is! Another $50 spent and it's only 1:15!!

I also have a stinking headache that doesn't seem to be lifting despite taking paracetamol.

I feel like this is a bit of a whiny post and I need to give myself a good kick up the a**e and get on with it.

Hope you're all having a good day.

    Hi Mrs PG

I really hope and have everything crossed that the next few weeks will start to be soo much better for you.

You have my total sympathy with the BT situation as they didnt turn up at all for my appt last Monday. Had another call yesterday to say that they cant see the job being ready until 6th June  so after the Bank holiday, now there's a surprise!!!

Hope the girls are ok with the various ailments and things have been sorted with the bird situation.

I was thinking of you the other night when talking to an old friend on the phone. Her DS has recently got a place of his own and she had re-decorated his old room, cleaned etc. Whilst on the phone to me her DH had gone upstairs to find a pigeon had got into the room and then couldn't find the window to get out so had decided to do its business all over the bedroom:eek: ( I know its not funny when it is happening to you but when you can hear someone shouting at a bird on the other end of the phone it paints a picture of comedy)

Right was up early for no apparent reason so time to shift butt and get on with things.

Talk soon ((((((Big hugs for all))))))

    love

    Hellooooooo!

Piq, I am still smiling, goodness knows how! Us PinotGrigios must be made of sturdy stuff!

I still have no broadband, so as Mr Pinot has just returned from Bristol, I have snaffled his I pad quickly.

So............update is this BT still have no clue what they are doing and no clue at all as to when it will be sorted!

Windscreen on Mr Pinots car finally fitted, £70 excess

Roofer arrived wed night. Climbed in loft and advised its a huge and very expensive job, which will require scaffolding due to the height of the house  He is currently quoting and the scaffolder arrived last night to take a look also. The roofer intimated that the cause was a problem with the build. So the dilemma now is do we claim on the insurance, begin a battle with the builders or make an attempt at claiming on the NHBC which expires in October ? Another roofer due any minute to quote so we will see what he has to say about it all.

Girls both off to sleepovers this evening, this is the week we were planning on taking the girls out of school for a few days and going camping, but with all the dramas it's not going to happen now. Mr Pinot and I have always said that we would love to go camping just the two of us one day, so we have decided that this evening once the children have gone today we are going to sling the girls pop up tent in the car for ease, rather than pitching our tent and heading off to our favourite site which is only 45 mins away. We will cook some sausages on the fire , drink a few glasses of vino and chill out together, which is much needed. Mr Pinot was concerned how I would get on sleep wise but my logic is that I can't sleep anyway at home, so I may as well give the camping beds a try.it can't be any worse:D. We rarely do things on a whim, so this is our adventure for the weekend!

Oh our drama for today is that we have a squirrel stuck on the roof of the house. How on earth it got up there we will never know , but it sure as hell can't get back down again! Mr Pinot has bolted together some wooden posts the height of the house and propped them up against the side of the house for the squirrel to try and make his way down. We have planted some nuts in strategic places in an attempt to lure him down :rotfl:

Well must dash, Mrs Fluffy you sound as though you are having a nightmare too at the moment. Sorry I'm not able to catch up with you all at the moment :(

NRA, I haven't forgotten you either. I will get back to you.

Take care everyone, must dash the roofer number 2 has just arrived. Apologies if this post makes no sense the iPad loves to correct what I have written and sometimes becomes completely illegible , but I haven't a chance to check it xx
