Thankyou Granny, and big hugs always help !! Not much sleep to report I'm afraid :(

So sorry to hear that. Let's hope Friday comes round quick and fast for you and that the hospital sort it out. x

Have you started your diary yet or are you just thinking about it still ? Yes started and on day 3 now, although off to work now so I won't be posting til this evening. Quite therapeutic at the moment though, so thanx for the encouragement. x

Been lovely to hear from you by the way !! :D

Thank you, it's nice having people to talk to about this as its been pretty much my guilty little secret over the last year. My DD and DS know what's going on but with DD living in Oz and DS having his own worries I try not to burden them with my tales of woe, especially as its of my making. :(

DD2 looking forward to her SATS today, literacy again, its the Numeracy shes not quite so keen on, but she will be just fine ! ;)

Glad to hear she's looking forward to it. I was the opposite way around. Good with numbers - not that'd you know that right now and not so good with literacy, improved with age me thinks.

Hope you have a good day today x

Argh, sounds awful. I hate having things delivered for that very reason. B & Q and M & S have both felt my wrath over the years!

Not all bad news though, so try and focus on the good stuff. Easier said than done though, especially if you're shivering with cold and can't have a shower!

Best dash off to Piq's diary now to see what's gone wrong......

Have as good a day as possible x

Bloody people. Taken car to garage and they are now saying they will get parts to garage by 3pm. Mr Pinot needs to drive to Bristol and then onto Cornwall with working brakes in the morning !!! Doesnt give the garage long to fit if they dont arrive until 3 . I can feel another lovely complaint coming on.

Mr Plumber has been, Mr Pinot didnt want me to call them, but as he isnt home until about 10pm tonight and leaving at 5am tomorrow , I'm not quite sure when he thinks he can fit it. PCB board has gone, last time Mr Pinot ordered a recon part and fitted himself for £80. New part £180 plus fitting. It is a friend so will fit for a little cheaper. Mr Pinot said no, I had to overrule him on this occasion and say yes. Plumber friend has no work and was standing in the kitchen waiting for a deicsion and I am cold and want a hot shower. :( Dont really want to wait until Mr Pinot is next home with time to fit it himself ,which at the moment is 23rd May. So that will be at least £280 from Emergency Fund today . :(

But on the bright side, this time last year we didnt have £280 so we would most definitely have just sat and shivered !!

Dread to think what the car will cost !

Email gone to non paying Company this morning advising them in hands of Solcitior by Friday if they dont pay up...............thats the day so far at its not even 11am !!! Whoopee !!!

Oh and a fiver in the cab to get back from garage to home as noone around that could pick me up ! Had to give the girls money to get the bus home incase the car wasnt ready this morning as well x

Well what a day so far and its only 11am !!! :D

ehem.....I like jaffa cakes.....actually I've got a recipe for them somewhere, perhaps I should look it out!

Well Mrs PG what a time you're having of it. Good on you for over-ruling Mr PG on the shower, that's exactly what the emergency fund is for!

Hope the day improves, people pay up and the car is fixed in the most economical way possible.

mmmm Jaffas, I'm waiting for a parcel too (although OH is really but its mine) HDNL sent it to Reading, I'm no where near there. Every single time they mess things up *sigh* It better arrive today as OH is back at work tomorrow.

I want to start baking and cooking more, I was quite good when we first moved in together but then I got lazy, I promised the OH thai curry tonight too, hmmm.
