    HI pinot

sorry to hear that you are having problems with the NHS. Thats ridiculous. Let your hubby do a lot of shouting...write to your MP. I find that hard to believe that they won't fund this.

I hope you get some sleep tonight and if you get a glass of the old pinot enjoy it. Take care of yourself.

Aah the local MP and Mrs Pinot, there's a tale for another day !!:rotfl:

Did you miss the bit that you were in charge of making the knickers though Kerri ?!!! :D

Hmm the potato idea sounds like a challenge, I was actually looking at a funky bright pink potato growing pot thingy last week !!:rotfl:

You paint a pretty picture Piq! Kerri could make the knickers, mrs B and Fluffy could crochet the wooly jumper and I will customise the fake louboutins. You would make a fortune in no time ! :T

Very money saving ! Well done!

You see the thing is, you need a lady like me to do the lap dancing, I am over voluptuous, therefore weigh a little more so it will not be comfortable for the gentlemen, me dancing on their laps. Regardless how good I look in my outfit they are going to want me to get off.

We'll be out of debt in no time!

Ok, desperately trying to now banish the vision of the voluptuous Piq, lap dancing for all shes worth in a variety of fetching handmade MSE Clothing from my mind, I really must get on and do some work today !!!

Well, I slept last night, thanks to the very teeny tiny glass of Pinot I cunningly glugged down with my tablets and slept like a baby until 3am !! :j Please note I do not recommend this to anyone and am not condoning this naughty behaviour or authorising the usuage of teeny tiny Pinot glasses and the odd tablet mixed together, before someone comes along and gives me a great big telling off !! I did check with the doc, he said a little glass was ok !! Think he just wanted to get rid of me really ! :D

So, today I am still in an argument over said business bank account. I can see we have been paid.Whoopee !!! :j Unfortunately the silly idiots have paid the wrong invoice, the smaller one, not due until the end of the month, not the one due by today. Therefore we are £764.00 short . Grrrr  Something tells me this wasnt an accident on their part. Anyway buoyed on by the fact we had some money, I set about transferring the VAT out into its own account, paying the tax man again and then paying ourselves and hopefully later paying the dreaded creditors. Once again the damn system let me log on, read statements etc etc, but I couldnt transfer money or pay anyone. After another call to the bank manager, who had no idea what was going on, but she did confirm she would waive charges after yesterdays fiasco, she finally put me through to the online banking centre in Timbuktoo. Other than the fact I had great difficulty understanding the gentleman and in turn I think he had trouble understanding me also, he decided the problem was that I wanted to transfer £317.00 and I was entering the figures incorrectly. Am I really that dumb ?! . I had to give him step by step instructions as to how I intended doing so. ( Ive only been doing it for years and years ) He came to the miraculous conclusion that my problem was that I wanted to transfer £317.00 and had therefore typed in £317.00. Apparently this is incorrect . I should have only typed in £317 ( no point zero zero ) the system knows that I have no pence apparently and in his professional opinion this is what I was doing wrong and had been for the last two days and therefore I was confusing the system so was loggingme out ! I did question whyit has worked for many years with . 00 on the end but he had no answer, or not one that Icould understand anyway ! . As you can imagine a very very fraught conversation followed . eventually I had no option but to put the phone down on him. I now have the silly online banking thing working using Safari, not Firefox although why it was working on Firefox until Wednesday and wont now I have no idea but I darent pick the phone back up and ask Soomit the question. I will ask Mr Pinot instead later on.

So after all this tooing and froing, I have paid the Inland Revenue £317.00 today !!:j Therefore bringing the amount outstanding to them down to under £3000. Whoopee !! Signature has been very swiftly updated !!! So I am one very happy lady today ! :D

I am off now to make a cuppa and attempt a choccy biccie, I have eaten nothing but a bowl of muesli and Haribo Teddy Bears for 3 days due to meds, so I am going to try the great choccy bickie challenge today !!

    I will be back xxxxx

  • Mr Pinot in a mankini reminds me of a friend of ours who was doing his police training in Wellington. About half of the people on the course were English the rest mainly NZ'ers. Anyway, they have to do the exercise where you are strapped into a cage and then turned upside down in water and have to get out. Well, my friend is a bit of a prankster and loves nothing more than dressing up... so he walked out of the changing rooms in a mankini and as is the kiwi tradition socks and jandels (flip flops to you and me). All the English trainers burst out laughing but the kiwi's sat in stunned silence.... they didnt get it! I still the remember the photo that was emailed to my friend's wife. :rotfl: :rotfl: Not sure it's an image I want to remember.

:T:rotfl: just the medicine i needed after my morning lol thanks for that laugh :rotfl::rotfl: it definitely is just us brits with this sense of humour :rotfl:
Well I think the highlight of my day has been the Dishwasher chopping discussion over on Mrs B's diary ( not sure she knows we have even hi-jacked her diary with that one yet though !) and Fit Bodyguards on Piqs !!
. I am livid they have given me 10 tablets which at a cost of £7 something per item on the prescription means thats 70p a tablet. They gave me 10 of these particular ones last week of which I have two left . All these prescriptions certainly werent built into the budget !

DD2 has a friend playing at the moment. They have decided to get the dolls house and Sylvanian Families House out to play with, how refreshing to see two 11 years olds still happily playing with their dolls !! I think DD1 actually secretly wants to join in , although she is cramming for a French Test for tomorrow !

Tomorrow my plan is for lots of upbeat smileyness, as todays diary has been far to boring for my liking ! xx

Can you not get a pre-paid prescription card? £10.70 for a month and you can get as many drugs from your dr as you like :D

:o and i used to play with my barbies until i was about 13 :o:rotfl: i still love them now and have to supervise dd when she plays with them :rotfl:

Oh and those discussions were also the highlight of my day :rotfl: and i am seriously contemplating the job centre now with a friend, breaks the day up a little ya'know! :rotfl:

I ate three choccie biscuits !! I am planning on doing your chicken and bacon dinner tonight DFW, so I will see if I can eat some of that.

Oooh and how thrilling that I get to rob the lap dancing clients blind !! You two distracting them and then I can go all Ninja on them and we would make a small fortune !! I ,unfortunatley am not too voluptuous, so couldnt help in that dept without my WOW bra as DD2 calls it, so I would just lurk Ninja styly in the shadows until the timing was right !!!

Anyway going off on a tangent here .......... I am off back over to your diary to check on you.

I relally must get some more work done today !!

Oh, just quickly. The Hollister top ordered for DD's to share arrived. I have washed it and its drying at the moment, it will look great with a little pair of shorts in the summer if we get one and it was about £2.50. My new Vivienne Westwood Dress that Mr Pinot bid for has also arrived. Sadly it looks as though it has been made for a jolly green giant,I have tried it on and look like a sack of spuds in it , it is so huge. Guess what will be going back up for sale this evening !!!

I am really into this whole ebay thing now, I currently have 12 things for sale , its all so exciting !!!

I live a very sheltered life these days ! :rotfl:
