It looks like you've been doing really well though! Ebay is a great place to pick up otherwise expensive clothes, especially for kids. Their friends won't know the difference and they can still feel like they are fitting in without spending a fortuneAll my reasonably labelled items come from either Ebay or TK Maxx. I'm not sure I've ever paid full price for something expensive :j
Hmm yes I do like to chat as you have discovered to your peril !! Theres all sorts of weird and wonderful things gone on in the pages in between I think.
Yes, my girls look rather glam in their designer gear, and they couldnt care less that it came from ebay !!!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Pinot, lurker here...
Your bank isn't b**clays, is it? Only I've had no end of trouble with logging on etc for a few weeks now! I think it is ever since they changed their website. I tried to transfer money and pay a bill yesterday - both failed!
Hope your back improves quickly.
Ooh a lurker, lovely to see you, please dont go back in hiding !
Yes, how did you guess the bank is the one you mention ! That new website is absolutely rubbish . The word on the street ie thepain int he bum at the other end of the phone is that it isnt the way I entered the figures after all ( funny that :rotfl:) it is definately my browser apparently. What are you using, have you any idea ? Firefox wont work for me, only Safari .LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Internet banking drives me bonkers sometimes. Failing to log in, chucking you out mid-transaction, not showing purchases straight away. The list goes on.
Looking forward to seeing the ninja costume, does it come with a shell back to protect your back? It would make sense, if not look a little unusual.
Busy cooking at the moment, will be back at a less critical time!
Piq
Hmm Ninja costume with a shell packfor back protection ?!! Hmm best I take inspiration from my 30 year old nephews box of old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys stored in the loft. Mrs Incredible outfit not cutting it then eh ?!! xx
I saw you were cooking over on your diary , sounds interesting . I luuuurve Butternut squash and sweet pot soup, send some my direction. I quite fancy some soup but cant be bothered to make any !!
Right I think I have caught up with you all now. I decided to go out for half an hour today, not left the house since Sunday other than to the docs and post office and I seem to have worn myself out. Off to have a sit down with DD2 and hear all about her day xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I've had trouble using the laptop which is Internet explorer (not sure which version - probably quite an old one!) and on the iPad which is safari. It did actually work on the laptop for me this morning, but I have got very frustrated with the whole system recently.0

Me too. I can't access my online bank statements since the new and supposedly improved website changes either. Feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Morning all,
Well yesterday wore me out totally. All I did was look around matalan for about half an hour felt exhausted :mad:This is very frustrating !
But in that half an hour I did have some spends-
2 toilet brushes ! The old ones had all broken
Underwear for dd2 , she won't stop growing
4 big drink bottles with the freezy bit to keep it cold for when we go to the gym, one each. Pink for the girls and blue for mr Pinot and I .
One cushion. Black with cream scrabble letters saying love home. Slapped wrists for that one, I don't need it, not sure where I will put it , but I love a cushion! In fact it took all my willpower not to buy more!
Underwear for Me
A Room Fragrance Spray ! Lime smelling, yum !
So........ £54 laterI climbed exhausted and guiltily into the car !
It got worse though as I should actually have gone food shopping not to matalan but was so tired and needing to collect dd2 from school that I didn't go. In my defence dd2 said I looked white as a sheet when I collected her and we walked in and collapsed in a heap on the sofa. She had online maths to do for school so she got busy with that and I paid a few bills and sat surrounded by all the dmp paperwork, budgets etc and decided to take a look at it. Next thing I knew it was 9pm, I hadn't fed us and mr Pinot called to say he was en route home, so he went via the Chinese, even more spends
But.......... Having not eaten a proper meal since sun, I did manage to eat a reasonable dinner so mr Pinot and dd2 declared the spend worth it. There is enough for leftovers for later also :T
But....... The other problem last night was I couldn't get our figures to add up to our Cashflow statement. I have struggled before as columns were jiggled a bit to include some activities for the girls, but based on our outgoings , we need £356.00 more than we pay ourselves as is shown on the Financial Statement  to top it off, I haven't included the fact the mortgage went up by £100 a month in May, I have had to pay fortunes in prescriptions, both DD s and Mr Pinot need glasses which weren't taken into account when the Financial Statement was done and I'm pretty sure I do too but I'm putting that off for now, and we have had to join the gym. Ok, that is a bit of an extravagance ish although I was recommended by the hospital last dec I must go 3 times a week for my back, so I am putting that in the medical necessity column, rightly or wrongly !! So.............something has gone majorly awry and I need to find out why and where it's gone!
Looks like that's my Saturday entertainment..........oh and to top it off Mr Pinot and I had words last night and he has now gone off to work but I am still feeling the need to get to the bottom of it. No doubt he will put his grumpiness and snappiness down to tiredness, but im tired too
Anyway, what a long post again............I'm off to number crunch and will report the findings later!
Oh and Dangers a little bird tells me you are threatening to re lurk..........not allowed I'm afraid. Once de lurked your here to stay ! :rotfl::rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Such a shame the Westwood dress didn't fit. Would have been rather exciting to own a Westwood I would have thought.
Forgot to answer you yesterday tea time, sorry. yes I was excited at owning a Westwood, who cares if it was from eBay. The dress looked pinky but was actually more red when in arrived, that bit was good as I was bought some gorgeous shoes for my birthday and they would have looked fab with it, but I seriously look as though I have raided Granny's dressing up box :rotfl:
The sleeves are about 3 inches too long, it falls off my shoulder and is a very unflattering length ............so back to the drawing board . I will be photographing it later to go back on eBay ! XxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Pinot, I am sorry to hear about your pain. As a long term sufferer of chronic pain I now receive a carrier bag of drugs each month from my GP. About three years ago I discovered the pre payment card where you pay about £100 ish per year. When it became impossible for me to find the £100 in one go I signed up to the monthly scheme. I pay just £10 ish per month for all my prescriptions. You can buy a three month card if you think you will be better soo as I hope you will. I am happily drugged to the eyeballs which I hope will excuse me from anything odd I say or do.
I lived in Essex for many years too, some of my children were born there.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

The other thing we do now is to subscribe to Simply Health. We pay around £30 per month to cover opticians and dental fees. Also covers chiro and osteopath etc. It means I can have treatment without worrying too much about cost as it is budgeted in. I need new specs about every 6 months so I get the cheapest-ish and the plan covers the costs. There is a limit each year and we usually get pretty close to it and get our money's worth.
They cover children too, free of charge. Not mine though as they are far too old and should be self financing. That will be the day
We used to lurch from one major expense to another and often had to put these things on the credit card.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
