I placed 2 orders on Monday for delivery to store. Didn't get an email, but got a text on Wed saying they were ready to collect and that was for a store where it takes an extra day.

Well this sounds like a case of staff not being updated as I know for fact that it was the policy less than 6 months ago as I worked on the clothing desk myself. I was just making the point that ca's are only following orders from above, trust me their lived would be a lot easier if they could just use common sense and judgement.

I would check the Sunday opening hours as they have recently changed from 10am - 4pm to 11am - 5pm in all stores near me. Not sure if it is nationwide though. They will allow you in at 10.30am to browse or visit the coffee shop.

Most of the 'named' items are online only, but occasionally the odd few appear in store. Best bet is order online to collect instore. Hth

Just had a heated conversation with Tesco Direct this morning. I bought 2 coats and a cardi using double up vouchers a week ago but one of the vouchers wouldn't work so customer services put £10 through as a store credit. Now I want to return one of the coats which cost me £10 of vouchers doubled up i.e. £20 and all they're prepared to do is give me £3.33 back on a credit card! I should at least get £10 of vouchers recredited surely! I'm now off to try getting a credit note from my local tesco customer services by reckoning I've lost the receipt! Is this likely to work?
