Gastroenteritis so he's on sterile water through a syringe (by mouth) little and often. He's had it for most of the week and has lost a little weight. At just under 9 months though his parents were getting worried. The hospital said there's loads of it going round, they had 20 kids in with the same thing at one time earlier in the day.Proud to have dealt with my debts, became debt free on 03/11/2011. Hi All,
Thanks for the prompt JG I've been reading on my phone but I tend not to post properly from it, usually waiting for when I am on the lappy, but only realised after your post how long since I last posted. I've got a break from my OU courses for a couple of weeks, so haven''t been on it at night, when I usually post, at all, only while I eat breakfast and check my banking each morning.
Mort - Hope your grandson is all better soon.
My little doggy is generally good thanks for asking, but has a bit of an "off" tummy tonight and is feeling a bit sorry for herself
Money wise I have not been brilliant this month, for the properly budget-ed stuff I was on track, but there were a few off budget spends that I really shouldn't have bought and I am cross with myself for not just adding them to the "I want one of these" post-it collections for proper consideration (and usually deciding I don't want it after all).
I'm glad it was pay day on Friday and I can call a line under last month and start fresh in this one, I wasn't terribly off track, but not as good as I should have beenrising_from_the_ashes wrote: »Bit down today (actually that's a bit of an understatement) .... have been up since 4 and the day seems like it's just looming ahead of me with nothing to fill it ...... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=52149341&postcount=11 .
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - I'll try to "have words with myself" and sort myself out......
So sorry to read that Rising x(((((((Hugs)))))))x Though I am sure it has been a horrible decision to make, it sounds like the right one, and based on what you wrote about his potential alternative way forward I am sure he will have good times ahead of him. The right dog for you is out there I am sure, I will keep sending you positive vibes.

Hey folks!!
not posted in a while, been incredibly tired, think its just pregnancy and working like a mad woman!
Rising - you have probably made the correct decision, the right dog is out there somewhere x
JG - fingers and toes crossed for you!
Mort - hope your grandson is feeling better soon, lots of sickness bugs going around just now.
After my last pregnancy fiasco, where I ended up with the amnio and everything came back fine. We then got it rubber stamped on Friday that the baby's full DNA is fine. After all that I just felt like I wanted to know everything! So found out on Friday that i am having a boy!! would have been happy with either, however as I already have a girl, a baby boy is just the icing on the cake!
Post some proper MSE news soon xDebt Free Roll of Honor #598

Thanks all ..... still pretty down - he was such a lovely lad and so friendly and eager to please in the house. You could tell the poor wee soul just wanted someone to love and look after him- so wish it could've been me.
