WARNING: 7dayshop.co.uk website is unsecure.

It is 7.15 p.m. on Wednesday 24th January.

In the last five minutes, I have just had two texts and a call to my mobile from total strangers warning me that all my details are visibile on 7dayshop.co.uk.

They are selling 1gb MicroSD cards for £7.99 each so I ordered a couple for my phone, creating an account in the process.

The people who called me informed me that when they went to the site, it was already "logged on" and when they tried to buy something, my account was what the site was logged on with and all my details were visible and I mean all....looks like my credit card might about to be hammered.

I've been on the phone the CC company to give them a warning, but oooh the hastle.

I have emailed https://www.7dayshop.co.uk about it, so will report back here when they have contacted me.

Did you logof when you left the site ? , did you use a link from a webpage or something to get to 7DS ?

The link was from another forums, and I created an account and purchased.

I did click the X rather than logoff, etc, but the log on session should be local to me and not left open for other users from the site from different class IP numbers.

Thats the problem then following a link from a forum m8, ive known it to happen before but not 7DS

How? The link was clean - I clicked on add to cart, created an account and moved on...

Dunno how it happens but it has in the past where someones posted an offer on a forum and people have clicked the link and you have been able to see the others persons basket.

The site has cached your details - bit techy but they are basically storing pages for ease of use for customers - it should never, never do this for secure pages though, just product pages etc. The company should pull the site asap - it is a huge breach of the DPA and they will be in big trouble if they don't fix it quick.
