Right I'll sat this again...the link was from a forum to a web shop I had never used before and so I created an account. My brand new shiny account was left logged on for all and sundry to get my details from.

I have received absolutely no correspondence or a telephone call over this today from 7DS....

Tell us again isn't going to help, you need to tell them.

And tell you credit card provider too. Hopefully you already did this.

IME on other sites can happen if you are the one posting the link, not following someone else's.

This is a big, big issue. Their server is cacheing the wrong pages, and anyone can get your details. If you haven't had a response, report it here :

7dayshop you say, I'm not surprised.... If it's the same 7dayshop I know then they are based in the Channel Islands and neither UK nor EU law apply there, so contacting the Information Commissioner may well acheive nothing.

You might be best off contacting Trading Standards in Jersey (or is it Guernsey I can't remember now). That's what a friend of mine had to do to get his money back on a faulty camera lens - 7DS tried EVERY single excuse in the book to get out of it (even though the fault was reported within 7 days of getting the lens).

7DS personally I wouldn't touch 'em with somebody else's bargepole.

It's Guernsey and as you say it's outside UK/EU law but they do have similar laws.

I visited the retail shop a few years ago, it was absolute chaos.

Did you contact your credit card company ??

I have an account on their, my CC details are not stored on the site, there is no place to fill them in or view them in my account details...
