  • Got 2 - 2 seperate visits in 5 mins:)
  • What a load of rubbish - bought one this morning and it doesn't read any DVD's - comes up with disc error every time. Taking mine back in 30 minutes.
Really noisy and sounded like it was murdering my DVD's.
Who cares how cheap it is if it doesn't work, would prefer to pay more for one that is reliable.

Wow what a deal! Had to go to 2 stores to get hold of one but finally managed to beat my work mates and be the only one out of the lot to get one!

Grabbed one today got it home. Really easy to set up just plug in a scart and the tv detected instantly. Had some vcd's and dvds lying around, tried them all - worked perfect first time. Even plays MP3 and you can view JPEGs etc.

I started to watched a dvd and to my horror the damn thing just froze after 10 mins!! Tried all the other cd's again and none of them now work! Just get disk error!

What a pile of !!!!!!!! Most people wont even bother to return it and if they do they would havee probably done £20 worth of shopping at Asdas on both visits.

Sold out by 9.00am in Colindale, London NW

Interesting. I turned about 5 minutes later and they told me they'd never had any in.

I'm truly happy for those that got them, but I do think this is a dumb promotion from a marketing point of view. Loads of people turning up and leaving empty handed and frustrated does not make for happy shoppers...

What a ridiculous post.. I see from your previous posts you have banged on about Toshiba divx players and Lexmark printers etc i'm guessing you are deluded enough to think that these are manufactured by millionaire playboys in their spare time.................

£9 us incredibly cheap, but since you can pick up DVD players for £18-£20 these days I would question whether it's worth going out of your way to get one of these - especially as posters on this forum have already said they don't work.
