Hi, this was mentioned in post 14. Different codes though...

Yeah, often these non-big brand machines come multi-region out of the box.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Some sad gits have too many worries in life.
Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.
  • I got mine yesterday, it comes with a 3 prong double ended lead, or you can use any scart lead if you like. I just used the supplied lead, and its great, just finished watching Disneys Cars! on it. :)

At this price, it is worth it just to get a years guarantee!

Who cares how cheap it is if it doesn't work, would prefer to pay more for one that is reliable.

At £9 a margin of faulty units that slip through quality control is inevitable, considering you could go out and buy an expensive DVD player and suffer the same fate.

    Not a bad little unit.

If this dvd is made anything like there freeview boxes then it is probably made by the same company that makes philips dvd players and wharedale.

    GOT ONE!

Went to Leyton Mills ASDA, they had 2 pallets of them and at about 0550 (10 minutes early) I went to the till and said "Are these going through at £9 yet?" and the supervisor said "They might as well, we can't set the new price until 9am anyway" so I got the first one at £9 there, and possibly anywhere!
bought 2 at 4:45 on thursday
  • Hi,
I'd like to get one of these for my uncle who lives in Spain. Does anyone know whether it would work over there just with a simple adapter plug?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Regards,
